At what age is a person supposed to have they're shit together?

At what age should a person have a house, car, lose they're virginity, etc

  • It will vary. We know of a gal who is 41 and still lives with her parents, and has a base-line job. She is well-learned but doesn't use her abilities- her parents seem ambivalent about her lazy life-style since they can afford to support her. But I digress - - - -

I would think by 20 they should have their own decent wheels, by the mid 20's they should definitely be on their own in their own residence, and by 30 have a house and (if they are going to start one) have married and started their family.

I got married at 26, we rented for 2 years, had our first house at 28, our first and second daughters 2 and 7 years after that, and moved into our 2nd (and final) house 9 years later when I was 37.

  • that depends on if you are going to put everything else aside to get those things or work for them as you can since life itself will get in the way of your goals. It also helps if you have a boyfriend/girlfriend working on those same goals with you. In todays age one person can not do it on their own unless they stay at home and save every thing they earn.

  • Not sure there is a certain age however I've witnessed it in some as young as 15 - 16 to some in their 30's who haven't reached that point yet and no sign of ever getting to that point.

  • I had all that shit done by the time I was 19. Everyone is different tho so this stuff could happen at any age depending on maturity.

  • When they're ready. Whenever that may be.

  • I don't think you ever really have your shit together, you just get progressively better at hiding the shit making a mess of your life.

  • Wen they have food shelter money n security

  • 99 years old.

    • typically guys in their 30's is when they have stable income, car, etc.
    • but virginity is kind of a case by case basis.
  • Don’t lose your virginity till you’re ready. The rest depends on your job situation.

  • Everyone is different. One should focus on their life, goals, ambitions and all that and other things should follow. We get scared by comparing and feel left behind but everyone is operating in their own time zone.

  • You should have your shit togther from the point you understand right from wrong, that's what I believe for myself at least.
Everything else should follow at it's own pace while your endlessly trying to make a living for yourself.

  • It's different for everyone. Some people never grow up and live with their parents forever. Others know exactly what they want when they are young and start early.

  • I dunno, but I'm pretty sure I'm waaay past it already.

  • since when is losing your virginity mandatory to getting your shit together? lol

  • That would be 'their'.
I did all that at 17-18. Some are early starters.
For most people it takes 'till they finish college and get a good job paying bank. My did it all by 24, with his 22 yo wife. They both got master's degrees in four years, both got high-dig jobs in silly-cone valley. Bought a million-dollar house.

  • I was 17 when i had my first apartment, and i "Had my shit together" If you can't do that by the time you're done with college thats on you. I didn't own my first home until i was 22.

  • I actually have no idea all depends on the person

  • 35 lol

  • I don't know I'm 25 and still haven't gotten any of that and I'm still a virgin but I will work towards it.

  • Whenever you can afford to do all that stuff! Plus i'm pretty sure i'll die a virgin so i stopped caring ☺️💀

  • Truthfully. It happens at different ages for everyone and for many it never happens. Its never too late to turn things around though

  • Personally at age 30 most people should have a house if not something they can live in thats there own

  • There is no set date, age, or anything. Life just happens with the choices you make!
