I'm surprised so many guys chose masturbation. And when I read the opinions, the choice is almost not related to the deed itself, but on legality (losing half of money) and feminism (hard to enter a relationship).

Hence, I dare throw my gauntlet down and proclaim "sex is better".

But putting aside legality and obstacles to a relationship, sex in itself is definitely superior because

1) its with a real person, not some figurines on screen or on print.

This means bare minimum, the senses of sight, touch, likely taste and hear are there. And they are real, not mp3 nor mp4 playback.

2) sex is also known as "intercourse" which means interaction between two person.

Hence yes, there is real interaction and such pleasures the mind.

We all need to connect to another person verbally, emotionally, and sexually implies almost all facets of interaction.

Hence sex is better than masturbation. Much better.

3) the vagina is a true friend of the penis, not fingers or hairbrush.

The warmth, the "naturalness", the perfect fit of the sex organs shows that sex is the preferred action to achieve orgams.

Hence my strong opinion is, sex is better than orgasm, putting aside the "unnatural" issues of legality and feminism.

I think that more people feel that way then anyone wants to admit. Think about it; as good as sex CAN be when everything is perfect and the stars align, it is way more likely that you're going to have a generally boring and unfulfilling time. Then you have that awkward pillow talk time where all you can think is damn... I kind of want to go to sleep, but this person is here and we just had sex. I feel like we should talk but there's literally nothing I want to say to them... I mean, they are (or, I'm sure they probably are) really cool but there's just nothing I want to say... Meanwhile the other person is thinking the exact same thing. And even though everyone is thinking it, it's hella awkward to say out loud. So you either just leave or you try to order a pizza or something to cope with the fact that you did the most intimate thing you can possibly do with another human, and it probably would have felt better if you just got the job done yourself.

I can agree with that to a certain degree. While sex is great, sometimes you just need to have a moment for yourself when you don't have to care about anyone else and just focus on your own pleasure.
Sex includes two people, so when it comes to pure satisfaction, it's a lot more difficult. You have to take into account the experience and preference if twice as many people compared to just yourself.
Sex is better for bonding and connection (which in of itself is a different kind of satisfaction). Masturbation is better for personal pleasure.
