There is just something about it. My girlfriend - whom I love with all my heart - is there, next to me. I am looking into her eyes, and it is just us and nothing else matters. (Well, at least until one of the kids calls from the other room. Once a parent, always a parent.)
It is truly intimate and it works at two levels. On the one hand, I am the dominant male. I am holding her and protecting her and she is safe with me.
On the oddly opposite side, she is holding me. Reassuring me. Making me feel safe by knowing that she is there with me. My friend and my lover and the woman who makes me feel like a man.
It is a strange thing perhaps that I get so much from a cuddle - oddly enough, B and F are what my girlfriend and I do most often. (I sleep in the nude unless it is really cold out, then I wear underwear, although girlfriend did buy me some PJs that I rarely wear. She sleeps in pajamas unless it is really hot out. Of course, if we are having sex, then we are both naked and the feeling of her warm skin against mine is just amazing.)
However, in those moment when we are cuddling, I won't lie. It is amazing how it can make me feel.
P. S. Do you really count G and H as "cuddling"? As to E, if that were me it would be the shot just before I fell out of bed.

I prefer A or F. If we are spooning, I have my arm over her torso and my hand cupping her boob, not fondling but just resting there. I refer to it as "grabbing a handle." And if we had sex before going to sleep - or if we didn't - I prefer both of us sleeping naked. The skin-to-skin contact is part of what makes the cuddling so great.
