I'm very confused and emotional. I just want some clarity and opinions on the matter.

So, me and my boyfriend come back to mine and we start to have sex, I'm drunk but I like immediately tell him no almost as soon as he starts, he carries on.

I tell him no and ask him to stop, he doesn't and tells me that it's OK, he carries on and pushes my hand down when I go to push him off me, he kept pushing me down when I said no. I even said it hurt

I cried a lot afterwards

He said after he heard me say no and that he was getting sex so he didn't care at the time,

Please help me as I'm really upset and I don't know what to think, he knows I said no but he refuses to believe the r word

Here's the problem with drinking and rape. The law says a woman cannot consent to sex while drunk, which essentially means a woman is not responsible for her actions and choices while drunk.

But apparently a man is responsible for his actions and choices while drunk because he can be convicted of rape even though he was inebriated.
