How soon do you ask about sex?

Question

I won't have sex before 3 months, but I ask a girl about her views regarding sex in our first few dates. I won't date someone who wants to wait for marriage. How long do you wait to discuss your views regarding sex?

I do not ask if they're ready to or want to have sex. I just ask if they're willing to have it before marriage.

I don't ask, it just happens.

Different women respond differently to me. It may be a few days, a week, or maybe longer.

It depends on how quickly they feel comfortable with me and their level of trust in me. If I break that trust by asking, it will never last with them.

Besides, I find it much more fulfilling when it just happens on it's own. It's not like just going through the motions, they are more relaxed and passionate.

In my current relationship, I started talking about sex on our second date. It's an LDR and a big investment of time and effort for me and I want to make sure that we are on the same page. We still haven't had sex but at least I know that it is something that she looks forward to at the right time.

I did the same with my current girlfriend, although we aren't long distance. I didn't want sex by our second date, but I wanted it before proposing and she was a 32 year old virgin and had a 10 year relationship in the past. To me it seemed reasonable to be made aware of whether or not she was waiting for marriage

Exactly. And I am in a position where I may not get remarried but still proceed with a monogamous, committed relationship. Plus, at my age, some post-menopausal women no longer have an interest in sex while others can't get enough sex. I don't want to get in a relationship where we only have sex on Christmas and the Fourth of July!

Honestly, I've never discussed sex with any guy unless we've established we're in a relationship together. And even then, I've never slept with any cause I like to wait until I'm 100% trusting of that person.
