  • I can't think of any. The problem is not the lack of freaky thoughts; it's that I just tend to dump my most unfiltered thoughts on people around me. So I'm drawing blanks. I got this fuzzy thought I've been having lately. Well, I was wondering how much you'd have to put a drill through someone's eyeball before blood started coming out. In films, they make it like you just touch the cornea and blood erupts for dramatic effect. But I suspect you have to start tunneling at least towards the center of the eyeball (the vitreous chamber) as far as I can tell before blood erupts. That said, I'm not a medical person at all. I would appreciate if there was one and could teach me exactly how far you'd have to drive the drill into an eyeball (in terms of centimeters, perhaps) before a good amount of blood starts gushing out.

    • Well, the reason I was thinking about it is that I watched some gory horror film this year where they drilled through someone's eyeballs. And I actually got my eyeball punctured when I was a teen. Had a flying skateboard fly into my eye and leave a splinter which went all the way through my upper eyelid and the upper part of my eyeball. And I pulled it out and that was horrid like electrical shock right through the brain but not much blood at all. It wasn't that deep through my eyeball though. But at least it wasn't like the film where you just start drilling through the surface of the eyeball and it erupts like a volcano of blood. So I was wondering how much further the splinter would have had to go before my eyeball burst into blood like that.
