Why are guys praised for having multiple sexual partners wheras women are shamed for it?

I think there are a lot of answers to this but they all pretty much boil down to our biology. Guys are programmed to have as much sex as possible. If a guy has a lot of sex, from a view of biology, they're doing a good job being a man.

But women are kinda programmed biologically to refuse sexual partners unless it's a guy who is really worth doing it with. Someone who will stick by them and offer good genes, influence protection etc. So when a woman has sex with a man and then doesn't stay with him, that's kinda a failure in how nature wants us to be I think.

I also think a piece to it is that there's a lot of stigmatism around this topic. It's generally assumed that the guy is a player who gets mostly sought after women. We all know at least one guy who will fuck anything with legs, most people don't praise that guy. Women it's generally assumed they're getting with deadbeats who have no social status.

Not saying I agree with this, but I do think it's a lot about where the shaming and double standard comes from. . . Maybe it's better to say I think all the reasons pretty much boil down to this.

It's also based in religion. Just read the religious texts where men were reviered and women are expected to fill a specific roll.
