I’m in my first one ever but it’s long distance sexting and sending pics/vids. I’ve tried getting over it but I seem to just keep coming back. I know I’m addicted and he seems to be also. I’ve been thinking about going to counseling for it because I seem to get anxiety when I don’t hear from him after a while.

For long distance sexting, you are not physically contacting him. You could start a similar relationship with another and see how that goes. Pick the one you like the best and stick with that. You may meet someone and get into a real relationship. Lots of ways it could end.

  Our spouses don’t know. I guess I just worry or sometimes feel guilty about it but I think I’m just going to start accepting things. It does make me feel sexier and confident when I talk to the other guy. I just worry that I get too attached.

  It is too bad that your husband is not the one making you feel confident and sexier. Then you would not have to feel guilty, and you would not worry about getting too attached. From what you have said, I have the impression that you are physically very good looking, and that you can converse in a very sexy way. Pretty sure your guy friend does not want to lose you. But also, I think your husband needs to know that you do not feel enough need from him or he would be trying harder. I get the impression that you are very hot!   The other guy and I have been talking for about 2 years off and on now. After the first time it happened I felt so bad I did confess to my husband. Things got rocky and I went back to talking with the other guy. He’s an escape. My marriage has had ups and downs. I have tried getting my husband to work on his health so I can desire him like I do the other guy but he’s just a different type of person. I decided it’s not fair to him. I just think perhaps it’s best to either have my cake and eat it too or try 100% to break away. It’s just so hard to break away from the other guy.
