This is a very legitimate question, and definitely a point of frustration. Yeah, not all guys can get away with wearing boxers.
If I'm home, I tuck him down, which can be very uncomfortable. If I'm not around family, I point him straight up which is, by far, the most comfortable. You have to be careful, though--you need to have taller underwear so that he doesn't stick out the top.
My solution is to wrap it around my waist like Super Sayians in Dragon ball wrap their tails.
OK that's a ligit new way I've heard. Or guys just wear loose clothes and belt it upward so hides under their shirt. :p
