Superb Opinion

  • Personally?

For the most part, I wouldn't think of this type as my ideal, but I'm an "intellectual" city girl. I wouldn't think we would have anything in common. Having said that, I also understand that I could be responding to a stereotype and people can have multiple facets to who they are. If he provided the intellectual connection I need, and/or the emotional self-awareness and vulnerability, then I could be into it. It would be a sharp left turn from my usual type though lol

Also, too much beard is generally a turn off. Some men can pull it off though.

There's something attractive about that kind of "brute strength" and uber masculine image, as long as his personality is limited or stifled by that.

  • My boyfriend is a tree surgeon as well as a gardener and he's got that whole country boy /hunter, gatherer vibe going for him and it is a real turn on.

He's definitely a man's man and i have to say it's super sexy

    • Okay there ya go!

Most Helpful Guys

  • Seems very specific lol. Don't think I've ever seen an actual real-life lumberjack, except maybe when driving past a logging site? But I'm sure there's a niche of women for whom lumberjacking is a requirement in their future husbands lol

    • Yeah no doubt. I think there used to be one on Hungry Jack syrup... can't remember lol

  • I ran a poll with a SFW naked guy in a sexy pose and the following, asking which girls found more visually exciting. The following won.

Are women attracted to LUMBER JACK men?
    • Well there ya go.

  • Personally, I'm not attracted to people holding an axe behind their head...

    • LOL LOL

  • Some are and some are not. It is sort of a personal preference thing

  • I’d say it depends on the guy. And the girl. But for me personally, I’d say rarely, but there are exceptions. It’s not an aesthetic I’m particularly fond of, but unless I find the guy especially unattractive it matters much more to me if he’s courteous and well spoken than it does how he dresses.

  • Its sexy when men wear plaid shirts or when they do carpentry and construction. But i dont like beards nor super hunky men

  • Depends on the size of his axe

    • Ha ha Ha nice one.

    • And how well and hard... and accurately he swings it.

  • Yep that works for me 😜 too bad there's not many guys like that round here lol

  • From the stereotypes no thank you. I don't know any personally though so I can't really say

  • Yes!!! Would love to soften his wood. :P

  • Indeed we are

  • I can’t speak for the ladies however I think they do like lumber jacks because they like hard wood if you know what I mean.

  • Yes yes yes

    • How about just the flannel shirt, but no beard? LOL...

    • Great im not crazy about the beard

    • Women tend to like those flannel shirts because of that "soft" look. I used to wear them back in the day when they were more popular. I should get back into it... 😎

  • I don't know about Lumber jack per say... but I know most women... including myself are turned on by a man that works hard and is able to protect and be there safety zone.. a big strong man that can swing an ax... could be a turn on for sure

    • lumberjacks dont use axes anymore😂😂

    • @irichl they do, just depends on what they're doing. At least in finland lumberjacks will mark trees for felling with an axe. And there is a whole community of old style cabin builders who build log cabins with nothing but hand tools, including axes.

    • @Irichl Right🤣🤣🤣 Say hello to chainsaws. Sounds like a nightmare instead of romance.🤣🤣🤣

  • I'd thick that could make sense, down to earth strong guys, I could totally see the attraction

  • I am bearded, tall and work/help at my law parents's woods farm. Many women do go crazy for the look, they droooolllll but in reality to be actually a lumber jack! That's a no.

  • There aren't any lumberjacks anymore, their now called metrosexuals.

    • They still exist... don't be jealous.

    • Lol ya caught me. No I was just playin, it's a cool look

    • LOL love me a man in denim

  • I mean we like what we like. So yes if she’s finds you cute I mean, you should know this lol

  • I‘d assume some are

  • No they're not that's a clone lumberjacks in test tubes just for that purpose because women have absolutely do not find them attractive. "TILT"

    • Just kidding, silly, of course they do. They're big, strong, brawny, and they were flannel shirts. What's not to love, they are like big axe wielding teddy bears.

  • I can't speak for women, but damn I would climb that man like a tree lol
