Superb Opinion

  • I would always accept and love a child no matter their life decisions. But that does not negate or take away my responsibility to at least reaffirm and teach what is right and correct. The mentality now days is that one can’t even have a respectful discussion of right and wrong because “feelings” might get hurt, and that everything must be relative morality. Sorry but society must continue to be able to discuss correct ideas and principles truthfully and then let people have the complete freedom to govern themselves. That means that a parent should affirm values but then in the end unconditionally love their child.

  • I don't have kids, but should that happen and I am presented with this situation, honestly I think I would be shocked a little bit, but not hateful or angry. Growing up around gay people and having an open mind would probably make me not care at the end of the day. So if my son or daughter decides to play for the same team, I won't stop them or discourage them.
