Adults, Do You Check Out Teenagers?

I ask because one of my 60 year old friends always takes a double look at the teenage girls he finds attractive when we're walking downtown together or wherever there may be one he finds pretty.

He says he gets turned on looking at some of them and the way they are dressed. I mean, yeah, it makes sence because of how some of the girls are dressed, but I wonder how many adults let themselves be memorized by it?

  • I don't remember who it was that said this, but they were asking some old Jewish porn mogul or something if it wasn't inappropriate for him, an old man, to still be attracted to 18 year old girls. He gave a really good answer, though. He said something to the effect of, "Hey, I like 18-year olds! I liked 'em when I was 6, I liked 'em when I was 12, I liked 'em when I was 18, I liked 'em when I was 20, 30, 50, and I still like them! If I liked them all my life, why should I stop now?"

Besides, women only care about pedophilia when men are doing it. When cougars and milves go around seducing high school boys, (and younger) women think, "Yas Queeeeeen! You go girl! Female empowerment! She's living her best life!"

Women are total sex hypocrites. Everything they do is totally fine, and empowering, and an inspiration to little girls everywhere, blah blah blah, and yet at the same time, anything men like is pure abomination. "Cool story, Karen."

    • Yeah because female victims of sexual assault never get their stories dismissed. /Sarcasm www.theguardian.com/.../canada-judge-says-sexual-assault-victim-may-have-been-flattered-by-the-incident

This study showed that the gender of the perpetrator makes no difference in whether the perpetrator is likely to be incarcerated.

It's not true that many women say it's empowerment when women sexually abuse boys. Even when I was hanging out in feminist communities, I never saw that.

But look at any article about a woman who committed statutory rape of a teenage boy, and look at the comments. I guarantee you that most of the comments justifying the assault are from grown men saying "the kid wasn't hurt by it! I would have loved to have sex with my teacher!"

I agree feminism is problematic in many ways, but this isn't something that can be blamed on feminism or women.

    • I was gonna make a poll about it myself but decided to check if anyone else has done it first. Here it is. 60% of men voted that it was acceptable for women to have sex with (i. e. rape) male teenagers, compared to 25% of women.
On the cases of female teachers raping their underage male students. Do guys really care about this? ↗

Now even the 25% is unacceptable. But this isn't an issue that can be primarily blamed on women when far more men than women have this mindset.

    • @mistixs What percentage of those men were sexualized themselves as children?

  • When boobs jump in your face or when the girl's butt is actually hanging out the bottom of thier shorts... yeah, I see it but I have to make myself look away. Yes, it's attractive but highly inappropriate so I look away. I'm also not in public much without my own teenage daughters so I have to look away constantly. When their girl friends come give me hugs they're ONLY side hugs.

I was sexually abused as a little boy. There is no female on my mother's side that wasn't sexually assaulted. I'm familiar with sexual trauma so I'm very clear with my daughters how I'll act. I'll never drop their friend off by myself, someone is always with me for three reasons: it gives my girls extra time with their friend, the friend never feels uncomfortable around me, and the friend can never accuse me of shit because I'm always very careful and never alone with them.

Check out? No... see and avert my eyes? Oh fuck yeah. Every day...

  • It's okay to acknowledge someone's beauty, as long as it's not a lustful, creepy stare. I look at handsome little boys and go, wow, you're going to grow up to be a heartbreaker. I don't mean it in a pervy way. While I understand that men can be predatory, as long as your daughter is not in harm's way, so what if a man older than her, thinks she is going to grow up to be a beauty.

    • Thanks for selecting me for MHO.

  • I look, but not out of admiration. I look more so like, "they are attracting the wrong kind of attention" --- and I also believe they either are shallow and they just don't have a brain or I think they will end up being really abused in life.

I also think, "what the fuck are their parents thinking?"

    • As for "underage" teenagers, last time I checked teenagers didn't have their age printed in large letters on their foreheads. It can be very difficult to tell how old somebody is.

    • @msc545 Cry me a river. That is not a pass. You already admit to knowing the possibility of them being underage, so take that into consideration. A man of good values and morals is stronger than that. A man who is not tempted is sexier and more respected than ever.

    • Fuck you. There is almost always a possibility of someone being underage even if they look older, and I am not the age police although apparently you are. I just ignore anyone who looks too young, and that is about as good as it is going to get. Luckily, I have an SO who is 33 and we are exclusive, so it really isn't an issue. So as I said at the beginning, fuck you with your moralizing.

  • Absolutely, and the picture you chose is a great example of sexually attractive underage girls, commonly known as "jailbait".

They are females of our species who are in the process of or have already transitioned from the pre-pubescent stage to adulthood. ("Puberty" being the biological process where premature/unable to sexually reproduce members of the species develop into mature/able to sexually reproduce members of the species.)

I define my attraction as Ephebophilia rather than Pedophilia, since I have no sexual attraction to those who do not display any evidence of sexual maturity. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ephebophilia

The girls in your chosen photo show developed bodies and demeanor that indicate they are sexual rather than asexual beings. The actions of females in this general demographic also support this theory, as they are often extremely engaged in conversations and activities with the aim of increasing their exposure and interactivity with males. You might say they start to become obsessed with males and have active curiosity about how to engage and interact.

  • I don't ask for ID before I do, so presumably. Looking is just looking.

  • i mean yeah who wouldn't look? they dress to be seen and looking is not touching

    • thank you

  • Thats creepy. I understand if the person can't tell theyre underage but the moment they find out, they should stop looking

    • Yeah that makes all the sense in the world.

    • Where in the question does it mention underage? It doesn't, so why automatically assume underage?

    • y'all can both gone somewhere with that. She said “teenagers”. A teen is more than likely under 18. To me thats a kid regardless of whatever bullshit countries make 14-16 “legal” to have sex with. I said what i said. Goodbye and good day

  • That's gross

  • We're all just (slightly) more intelligent creatures whose primary purpose is to reproduce. Natural attraction is natural attraction, but obviously there's societal norms that put up boundaries that most of us are able to recognize & follow.

  • They (we, me included) are old, not dead.
With luck and if you are not stupid, you will get here one day.

    • its funny isn't it? i had some guy earlier ask me how come i still masturbate at my age lol

    • We're talking minors.

    • @bannacookies (Depending on state) If they are 18 you can do more than just check them out. If they are one year younger, you are not hurting anyone by just looking. and like Katie1964 says we are old not dead. And looking is not harming at all.

  • 🤮🤮🤮🤮 at the results

  • Sounds like he just appreciates a cute young lady! If he doesn't ever say perverted things, or try to touch them, leave him be! He's just looking at BEAUTY, and who are you to say he shouldn't just love how they look?
OK, most guys would have some personal "issue" looking at young ladies, that are like their daughter's age!!

    • Did I say that he CAN'T? No I DIDN'T.

    • @bannacookies I guess you missed the point, and focused on something I wasn't saying!

  • I would, but I reckon I don't, since teenagers don't usually dress the way that appeals to me.
The women that catch my attention are well put-together, and most of those turn out to be too old, rather than too young.

  • I have this conversation A LOT with younger girls that comment on older men looking at them. Her is what I tell them:

Congratulations, your body developed and people are starting to notice. Even older men. However, don't get confused. A man can look at girls of any age and still appreciate a pretty face or a nice shape. It DOES NOT mean they are getting all pervy and lusting after you. Give yourself an internal high five. You look pretty/ sexy enough to gain the attention of an older man. Take the compliment and run with it.

IF it really bothers you it is a tell-tell sign you still consider yourself a little girl. Obviously your body's maturity and your mental maturity not on the same page.

    • That is such a great answer. I think it nails the question on the head

  • It happens sometimes... Today I just saw a pair of girls, giddy and having a good time. It's the kind of time where you wished you were their age and having fun with them but I could not help but notice, one had an exposed midriff during December. I guess it was not completely cold today but still.. it's a pretty bold choice for December weather in chicago

  • You don’t know the age of a person at the time that you notice attractive attributes

  • im 53 but if she is a legal teen im going to enjoy the view... if that makes me a pervert so beit

  • Not even remotely. I'm attracted to women 25+.

  • Of course. Tenagers are sexually mature. It's normal to find some of them attractive. It's not normal for older people to hit on them.

  • Do you not look at a hot guy, even if he's a bit younger? You may not think sexual or "want" him, but you might think, "he's a good looking guy". Same with us. No matter age, we aren't blind lol.

  • Yeah but i am a teen lol. I think i would probably check out teens who look of 16 bare in mind they maybe not 16 could be 15 but look older. When i am older myself. Of course it would just be looking and nothing more.
Tbh i think my granddad once checked out a teen one time. It's defo a thing were guys keep it to themselves though so how many will admit i dunno.

  • I suppose most would considering that teenage girls are post-pubescent but I don't think they would really bother to look further or be seriously interested on making a move on them because while they are not kids anymore they are also not fully adults yet.

  • That's creepy af.
