Why do you still want to have sex with an ex?

Besides being horny and wanting to have his ex and eat it too, if you guys broke up with an ex and have no feelings for her, why do you still want to have sex with her? My ex broke up with me, admitted after me asking him to say he has no feelings for me, but when he broke up with me said the more than friends stuff had to stop. Sex is romantic/more than friends, so why continue having sex with a girl with no feelings or if you ended things? I would think when you break up with someone you want to cut off everything more than friends, sex included.

Do not hook up with your ex if you're not 100% over the relationship. And if you aren't sure you're over it, never use sex to test how you feel you risk of confusing both parties and opening up an old wound. Because it's so hard to be sure about your feelings

While I’m not 100% over everything, since he just sees me as someone he still wants to hookup with and have no feelings. That’s how I’m going into it. I don’t want to go into looking like a fool hoping for something that’s never going to happen.

in an on and off, like i was inn we like each other, and had mutual feelings , but we had strong characters, so sometimes we depart, lets say facke broke ups, with no one on the middle in both sides. but if you broke up like serious or you do not feel anything let her go.

Just because I broke up with an ex doesn't mean I dont have feelings for her. One of my exes I love but I can't be with her for a variety of reasons that I hate but must accept. I'd love to have sex with her again but I can't and won't.
