Because I'm monogamous and casual sex just doesn't appeal to me. For me sex is the height of a romantic connection, something I only want to do with someone I can imagine spending the rest of my life with, and that's how I let them know that they are special and appreciated by me. My friend/someone I know is not special to me and I don't appreciate them that way. The nicest thing I can offer to someone who would "beg me for sex", is refraining from judging their motivations to do that.
