I've been in mostly long-term relationships and they're good if you like lots of regular sex and intimacy. Having someone you're comfortable with in your bed every night is amazing.
The problem with relationships and what everyone fears is getting too attached and then that other person cheating and leaving.
You gotta take the good with the bad.

I just mean that you learn what to expect by having gone through past relationships.
You can spot red flags early and you have a life of your own.
You know you'll be fine without a partner and you will be fine either way.
You don't put all your eggs in one basket anymore.
It's what you learn after being married.
