  • There is not ONE 'age' to become 'sexual'...

    infants have been witnessed to have discovered self-pleasuring unashamedly;
Most children enjoy touting their discoveries amid their peers. Earlier generations
used to clandestinely 'play doctor' and 'spin the bottle' and 'pass the ice cube'.

    And then you discovered you couldn't tickle yourself; and so, came the alleged tickling games;
an ersatz excuse to competitively fondle a playmate! They'd squeal, ... and protest but
they'd also come back to play again.

In junior high, the younger sister of a classmate and her female playmate used to tease and provoke we 12-14 yr old boys to chase them and tickle wrestle them mercilessly. Neither gender was naive both were concupiscent.

In the Micronesian islands where puritan Christianity is superficial, island villages tend to turn a blind eye to interfamilial sex play fondling beginning around 7 years of age, EXCLUDING vaginal copulation.

I suggest you reference an article I'd come across...

  • First period for a woman, provided she is financially responsible for herself, which is admittedly very, very rare, but some women are already millionaires by age 14. Why would The Creator make a woman start ovulating at 13 or 14 years old, if she wasn't ready for sex? Again, I'd say limited by financial responsibility. If she's a genius and already a millionaire, as some women are by that age, then let her have sex with whoever she wants to have sex with.

12 years old for men. In fact, as of 1935, a 12 years old male was still considered a "man". It's only in recent decades where you aren't considered an "adult" until 21 years old. Same deal, if he's a genius and already supports himself at such and such age, then he can start having sex with whoever he wants to.

  • When:
*they're old enough and mature enough to be responsible about safe sex,
*They're old enough to handle any consequences as a result of sex, *They're of legal consenting age.
(some girls have lied about their age and then men could get charged with statutory rape, which if they know the person isn't legal age and still do, they should, but not right if they didn't, yet still get charged)
*They're doing it because they really feel ready, not just because others are doing it, or because they think that's the only way to keep a guy (any guy that really cares wouldn't use ultimatums, and sex can't make someone stay if they don't love you)

    • Agreed, it's better to have sex after marriage, your virginity should be a big gift for your husband 😊

  • I don’t think there is a proper age. Everyone is different and so we make up our own minds. Obviously you need to be physically mature and also sufficiently mentally mature. I think for most people this is probably in the range of 15 to 17.

    • granted corona is pushing that back

    • How is Corona pushing. Back

  • I thought we had this sorted out already, but here is the final word, from Chef himself:

  • Something like sex should have no time or specifics, just whenever the individual is ready. For me it's 16 and above as it's the age of consent where I'm from. But just when the 2 people are comfortable and ready

  • That's down to the individual

  • I say if you can't wait til marriage then wait til 18 at the least or actual adulthood which is 21.

  • After you get married.

  • Whatever age you feel comfortable and ready. My first girlfriend was 15 and I was 16. By that age, lots of girls were engaging in sex.

  • when your body and mind jell together, age is no barrier,

    • Fair point

  • When you feel like you have the right partner and are mature enough to not take any risks

  • 17. That's the unofficial age. That's the RIGHT age. There's no debating me on this; it's 17. (Dating can start at 14 or 15.)

  • 12-13, as long as it's with people your age ofc

    • Wow that's very young

    • We were that young when we were sparing partners and wanted MORE then that. A week later it was over.

    • I was fighting over bayblade... At that age

  • For me instated way to nearly but I would trade it for anything it's a part of growing up and experiencing I think what ever the laws and depends on how mature they are *(

  • Preferably over 18 so you at least have a high school diploma before getting pregnant

    • Good plan get your education out of the way first or its 18 years of staying at home.

  • Probably 18

  • Well, I lost my virginity at 14, so I'm going with 14...

    • Any regrets on losing it at such a young age when your body is still developing

    • Nope.

    • Great age @dazed0n0confused

  • Twenty one.

    • For who?

    • No that's the legal age to start drinking I reckon, well at least that age in New Zealand not 18.

  • When you are mentally ready and know exactly what you’re getting into without the feeling of pressure

  • This is a good question... Many I think would say in the later years of high school

What's the proper age to start having sex?

    but for me,

I'd say for me, wait until after college or when you find someone you want to be with simply because it makes relationships more mature by that time and there is less chance of an unwanted pregnancy by that time as well

  • When I’m a committed relationship or about 3/4 of the way through the Tequila bottle... which ever comes first

  • When you want to and are responsible enough to prevent unwanted consequences.

  • I feel like I waited too long.

    • Right I was 17 and felt I passed so many opportunities... couldnt wait any longer... then I seen.. nevermind... it was great.. I was really ready and so glad it wasn't any female from my hs...6 months worth... then she moved...
