They may or may not have the same interest , but both people should explain why they like what they like so there can be an understanding in why someone like something someone else my find weird.
That goes for relationships ad well, if your with someone and you can't be you with them behind closed doors you will never truly be happy. The sex will never be that amazing moment. And a good chance sooner or later they will have the opportunity to act on their thoughts with someone else and will take it. obviously I'm not saying some random , but if you both say love, as long as either side doesn't feel degraded or in danger or a painful experience they don't want, be honest with each other and have some fun.

I've never been into sexting. I've had a chicks try and sext me a couple of times even as far as sending me a video or 2 but I didn't respond to the sexting but continued on with the friendship and might of responded back with something funny like "is that the jackhammer 2000? Read good reviews." Just to break the awkwardness. I mean I was flattered and any man appreciates a video of a good looking chick knocking one out but we were friends and did business with each other so I didn't want to complicate things.

I have to actually see who I am sexting with by seeing them on webcam. 99.999% of the time when I am asked to do this, the guy says there is something wrong with his camera or some other lame excuse. That is because he is probably in his 50's or older and ugly enough to scare his mirror. 😂. What can a guy do for me that hasn't gotten laid since 1980? 🤭🤷.
Anyway, I rarely do any sexting because I get plenty of attention and stimulation offline. When I do sexting, it is usually on a two-way video chat with another girl and we both have toys. I love women of all ages, but I am not into guys older than me.
