With air, if you are careful, nobody would realize it was coming from you. If it was just me who got a power (which this question didn't specify so I'm assuming) then it would be the easiest one to keep secret and still use.

Lightning, it owns the rest of them easy sauce. Now if it was full control rather than just on an elemental level, like molecular, I'd go with water as the universal solvent as on a molecular level you could construct and deconstruct the others using it, complex compounds, and play around with nano-tech as well.

If you have water, you can control sand/earth (erosion) , life, crops, and fire.
Because of the "water cycle" in meteorology, you would also control- by definition- the weather (including wind = air movement, lightning, etc).
