Superb Opinion

  • No matter how much surgery or hormones they take, any change will always be superficial and they will never be the gender they identify as.

Are Trans Women, Women? Are Trans Women, Women? Are Trans Women, Women? Are Trans Women, Women? Are Trans Women, Women?

Most Helpful Guy

  • Biologicaly... NO (XY chromosome)
Physiologicaly... SOMEWHAT (hormonal therapy and surgery to do modifications)
    Socialy... MOSTLY (depending on laws)

I would suggest a 3rd biological gender: "Biomod-gender" (body doesn't produce necessary hormones on its own, requires body reconstruction and removal of excessive parts) with all the rights of both traditional genders yet with few limitations to minimize possible abuse (functioning penis? => no-accces to women-only facilities.)

  • No. Being a woman is about genetics, something you can't change.

Putting on a wig and dress, does not equal a woman.

And those who cut of their gentials and take hormones, still aren't women, just mutilated men who need mental help.

  • Biology wise, no. You can't change simple biology
    Socially, yes.

  • They are men who have had a surgical procedure and medical treatment to imitate the appearance of a woman but they were born male, most of them were raised male, and they have XY chromosomes in every cell of their body.

  • Socially yes if they look like women (as in don’t have beards or body hair and have a woman’s figure and generally resemble biological women to the point where you wouldn’t know otherwise).
    Biologically no.

I think many of us have gotten so fed up with the leftist bs that some in the trans community come out with such as normalising animal identities and adults identifying as children, etc. And it’s made people hate trans people and I think if someone presents themselves as the sex they weren’t born as then I don’t have a problem with treating them accordingly. For all I know half the women out there could’ve been born male but my brain automatically registers them as women which is also why I’m not keen on non-binary and other genders because they’re introducing new rules to the game if that makes sense and this is coming from someone who wants to become a “woman” (that’s not me in the photo).

  • I have a Yamaha sportsbike.
If I replace all bits of it with Kawasaki spare parts... all I have will just be a joke.
The good news: my Yamaha will not run around and tell everyone: ''I'm a Kawa now''.

  • I’m old fashioned. I like women that were born women, to me these are real women. I’m not trying to hurt feelings, but the notion that the copy will never be better then the real thing is very true.

  • Biologically no, mentally yes.

    • Mentally? Thats sad

  • No they are monsters and anybody thinks that a man can magically become a woman probably also thinks a face mask that does not cover their eyes protects them from a virus.

  • They can't give birth, have periods and all that

  • pretty much yes, it is about the mind in the end

    • So biology doesn't matter? If you "think like a woman" it makes you one?

    • Well we all saw what modern medicine can make... so I think mind is more important in this case and looks of course in time

    • Modern medicine like hormones? Thats literally a small part of what makes a woman a woman. Its delusional

    • Show All
  • 100% not, it devalues real women.

  • They are their own thing, all of these issues arise from trying to put everyone in a bucket

  • That depends entirely on which definition of 'woman' you are using. In modern society the dofinition has multiple meanings. Biologically, no, a trans woman is not a woman. However many don't think that your biological gender determines that. I sulpose it depends on how literal you are.

  • No. DNA determines gender, not some surgery

  • No. They don't have XX chromosomes, they do not have ovaries, they do not have a womb, they do not have female bone structure or physiology. They are a man in a dress with mutilated genitals.

  • yes and no,
while they may identify as women, they do not & cannot produce eggs,
also if they still have a functioning penis they should not be allowed in women only spaces (i. e. changing rooms, toilets & prisons etc) there are known & proven cases of men self identifying as women (which is enough to class them as transwomen) raping women & girls in women only spaces
I believe transwomen should be entitled to their own safe spaces, but it should not be at the risk of biological women & their rights that they have fought hard to gain over many years

    • Yesss

  • Not in a biological sense. Trans women are women in a social sense though since many believe that gender is a social construct. This doesn't mean that they'll be treated completely like biological women because they're missing that biological component. So my rationale would be that they're half women for lack of a better term.

  • No because they still have XY (male) chromosomes
