There are some guys who have them curve up when erect, some stick straight out when erect and some can be erect and be crooked or point downward, so its possible.

From what I've read on online medical sites it's actually pretty rare for a guy's penis to be perfectly straight when it's erect. And when it's soft they usually hang to one side more than the other.
