Are you really asking why heterosexuality is a thing? SOME men find gay men being attracted to them gross because the man ISN'T GAY. Also, these stories sound anecdotal AF, because I don't think most guys think about what gay guys think of them, at all. We just don't want to be with gay men if we're straight. Obviously, that doesn't apply to straight women. (Although I personally wouldn't want to be with queer women, similarly because I'm not female, so don't want a "bi/pansexual" woman; I'd find it offensive that a queer woman approached me, implying I'm femininity or girl-like.)
I know you, OP, aren't a "normal woman" yourself, so the gay part might possibly apply to you, but most men in the world are normal heterosexual guys, which makes this question really ridiculous.

@oyaoyaoya69 Those are only a minority of men. Most men don't have a creepy-ass gross lesbian fetish just like most men aren't into anal. But the ones who are never shut up about it, making it seem like its more common than it really is. I don't have a lesbian fetish, but the closest reasoning I've heard from a male colleague is that they really just want a three-some with two women only *pretending* to be queer (as real queer women aren't into men). And that gay men are assumed to all be into those guys, and they're worried the gay men will grab their junk or touch them inappropriately or something. I think men who think like that are narcissistic and stupid, and I also find it a bit hypocritical, but as I said, few actual men have lesbian fetishes.
