1-10, how much should you lust for a stranger in order to consider casual sex and/or dating?

Casual sex is not an option to me as it's disgusting to me.
As for dating, I need to lust for a stranger 9/10 in order to CONSIDER dating him.

I know the option 8 and 9 are extremely rare because one has to have emotional connection in order to lust for another so much. And this takes time. If you have ever felt strong lost for a stranger then tell us but I doubt it happens very often.

And to clarify I'm not asking you from 1 to 10 how horny you were when you saw a stranger. I'm asking you about your lust for the stranger not your lust for sex.

The option 10 is nearly impossible.
But in my case it might be possible because I usually fall in love veerrrryyyyy hard and at 1st sight.

  • I'll give 2 separate answers for dating and casual sex
    For dating, anything over 8 would be enough to have me making the first move. I don't pass by someone that attracts me that much often, so I should at least take the chance to know her better (considering "lust" as in simply how much I want to be with that person). I would still date someone "lower on the rank", but that's the threshold for me making the first move.
    For casual sex, it would have to be a 9 minimum, nothing less (this in the original and sexual meaning of lust). Unless I'm romantically involved, that's the minimum to move me

  • Well, "lust" is a strong word, with somewhat of religious implications. (Christians aren't really supposed to lust.). But I know what your saying and the general theme of the question, so I'm not going to nitpick. :)

    I would say that a level 6 would be needed for me to want to date someone or marry them (which is the same thing, because dating is for the purpose of leading to marriage.)

    However, I want to point out that you contradict yourself in your post. Because you say that you need time to build an emotional connection, but then you also say that you can fall in love at first sight.
