If you are a bartender and you keep serving minors, you probably could get away with it for a while, heck, if you do it right, you might not even get caught but it's on you to be responsible and do the right thing. I think while it can be a mood killer, at a certain age range women can be really mature.
I was just looking for a random picture and teens that do porn popped up. Let me start by saying she could pass for her twenties, absolutely no problem and that's where it gets tricky. I've been told an interesting way around this, is for both or you to order drinks. If she gets her drink where you can see her get carded, then you are golden but if she can't or disappears from view to get it, the she could have found another way to get it. Or even use the duel card method, even better. You pay for her drink but have the bartender check her to serve her. Something like that...

If a minor gets caught with alcohol they get in trouble. Seems like there should be some legal repercussions for a minor who knowingly has sex with anyone 18 or over. Not only are they putting themselves at risk but they are putting the adult at risk of jail time. financial loss.& lifelong scrutiny and hindrance from society and a loss a normal productive life. I'm only talking about in those cases where it's not obvious they are under age. Especially if were talking a month or two or less from turning 18. Seems a little harsh when the judge handling these cases are pedophiles in most cases.

I think handing over a card to prove one is old enough to have sex, almost sounds like providing ID/official documents to a modelling/talent studio before doing business... sounds very 'transactional', maybe?

Considering ALL the “Male Privilege” that men have, they sure do get HUGE prison sentences for screwing underage girls, whereas we poor “oppressed” women get hardly any time, and often only get probation for screwing the same aged boys! I think so. UNLESS the female is specifically trying to get pregnant or is already pregnant. Then I think no matter her age, sex should be legal between herself and her coital partner and proof of her age is no longer relevant. :) I have a friend who is 15 and who had as much sex as she could with various partners because getting pregnant was her goal. I tried discouraging her. But she said she wants to have a baby before she dies of COVID (she's already had it twice.) She was successful and now her belly is growing plump with baby meat.

Not an issue at my age lol. It does come up but not very often. You could be forgiven for assuming that if they're in a bar or nightclub, they've already been carded by someone at the door or the bar staff so they wouldn't be there if they were underage.

If you’re going to do that you have to be smooth. Don’t ask under the context of sex or they’ll get offended. Just tease them and say you don’t believe them. If it’s a woman, say she looks younger. If it’s a man say he looks older. Charm them. Then ask them to prove it and look at their id.


I’ve done this to girls who had baby faces. If they go out of their way not to show their Id it’s sus. I’ve never had a girl not prove her age.

In this day and age... Yes definitely (and hopefully they don't carry fake ID with them) since if not you risk going to jail, being put on the Sex Offender Registry and treated like a pariah for the rest of your life told where you can and can't live and denied jobs that you may have otherwise been a perfect fit for.

If they can't produce a state ID or driver's license. Leave them alone. They aren't old enough.

You can get a citizen card in the uk which you can use to prove your age to buy age restricted items or put men's minds at ease. Only problem is they have your real name on them.

i find this sort of weird. a man gets scammed into having sex with a minor cause she lied about her age (maybe even showing fake id). imagine that in any other situation. you rob a store but it's their fault, cause they could have had better anti theft measures xD it's weird.
