What he did was a terrible thing. However, you will have a baby soon, and your first responsibility is to that baby. You need to find a way to get it together enough to care for the child properly, and love it properly. If you can't, then seek some help, some professional help. If all else fails, or if you know up front that you are not up to the task, then the loving thing to do for the child is to place it up for adoption. I'm not saying that you should not keep the child, but that if you can not find the means, financially or emotionally, to properly care for the child, that is the loving thing to do. However, before doing that, if you want to keep the child, try various avenues before giving up on keeping the child.
That's just pretty disgusting behaviour from him, especially since you'll be on your own with a child and he doesn't have to live with any shame.
