What do you want to smell when you get close to your man?
Back in the day, it was Old Spice, Aqua Velva, British Sterling, or English Leather. Whatever you used, here was a chance that your smell might remind a girl of her father (which might be good and might be bad.)

Do you prefer that your guy wear aftershave or cologne and, if so, what do you prefer?
I just want him to smell clean

  • I am very particular about the scent on a man to the extent that I would not date a man if he was not to wear deodorant. I prefer men who wear cologne but I might tolerate them not wearing a cologne but not wearing deodorant is a big no no now that said the scent that I prefer isOLD SPICE. Its classic it's clean it's in everyone's budget and it's been around for ages but it's also modernlized. I love that it comes in an aftershave a cologne a body wash or hair wash it comes in with gel it has deodorants it basically covers your man from head to toe and sensual masturality goodness that the man and his woman cannot go wrong with. OLD SPICE IS SEXY!

    • Umm. One Q: What is "masturality"?

    • @Guardian45 Who cares what "masturality" is? I happen to wear Old Spice so I'm feelin' alright! :) :) :)

  • Good question!
I found, that women love smelling Invictus by Paco Rabanne. I got a few compliments already. She told me "Wear this when you're in the club. You'll pick up all the chicks"

What do you want to smell when you get close to your man?

I would also consider wearing "His Money" cologne. You'll see what I mean :D

What do you want to smell when you get close to your man?

It's literally the smell of money bottled.

    • Did not expect that from you at all. Thanks for the most helpful opinion :D

  • Studies have shown that most women prefer a clean, natural body odor when doing the smell test. Using some cologne is sort of like women dressing in lingerie. It's fun every once in a while, but nothing regular.

  • I want him to smeLL like Musk for Musk is the name of my favorite cologne ! thanks

  • Clean is good, but I have to add that I have sensitive skin which includes fragrance sensitivity, up to 30% of the population of the U. S. has irritation from cologne/perfume.
This means allergic reactions like a rash, itchiness, sneezing, coughing, nausea, runny nose, stuffiness, swelling of mouth, lips or tongue and headaches from fragrances or any foreign synthetic substance, phthalates that disrupt hormone activity, reduce sperm counts, and have been linked to liver and breast cancer. I have an undergraduate degree in chemistry. Did you know that around 95% of the chemicals used in synthetic fragrances is derived from petroleum? Doesn't exactly scream date night for me. These unsexy chemical including aldehydes, benzene derivative and toluene are linked to birth defects, nervous system disorder (ADHD) and even cancer. My preference for my man to wear a body lotion or natural scent. I like the perfume oil that is an earthy scent with a roller ball to put on your neck. It has notes of bergamot and magnolia. Even a laundry/fabric softener that is fragrance-free, paraben and sulfate free like Seventh Generation Lavender or Citrus Fabric Softener. It should have minimal ingredients that are organic, non-alcoholic, oil-based fragrances so it doesn't irritate my skin. Don't put too much. Hold the bottle a foot away from your skin and allow it to settle naturally. Eden is a company out of the U. K. that will match your favorite brand of perfume or cologne with 100% vegan and cruelty-free version, that's not expensive with natural ingredients like musk, honey, milk or ambergris (marine, sweet, earthy scent). I wear jasmine or vanilla scents usually a lotion and it lasts much longer. Nature's brands organic aftershave cologne is another favorite with ylang-ylang, cedarwood oil, organic bay leaf and sage. You can make your own with doTERRA essential oils mixed with a coconut or avocado oil that you can apply with a rollerball.

    • My undergraduate minor was chemistry. Thanks for the helpful comments.

  • I haven’t worn that stuff in years- used to regularly.

  • Pierre Cardin. I like the female version of Gucci Guilty better than the guy’s version.

  • Lol I do not wear any of the stuff on that list it's all to mainstream for me.

  • Swiss army

  • my wife picked something called Old Spice bear glove. As long as she likes it i do not care lol.

  • His scent mixed with his cologne. (Swoon)

  • I just want him to smell clean. Most scents make me ill.

  • I use to wear Brut and Aquavelva (sp) brain is old.. even jovan musk.. but I can’t find it (or even high karate) so I stick with CK

  • Lol I just hope no gay guys respond to the question.

    • I intended but forgot to limit the responses to just female users.

    • Yeaaaa... about that...

  • Just a placeholder to see what women say...

  • There is this one cologne that men wear that make me go gaga (name was something "acqua", kind of smells like sweat).
