Why would my boyfriend taste my blood?

Tonight, my boyfriend was playing around with me and he accidentally swung my hand on the coffee table. My finger started bleeding pretty bad (it didn’t hurt that much). He grabbed my hand and said “I sorry” and then kissed it and licked up the blood. Why would he do that? I wouldn’t even lick my own blood😂

Its seems kind of odd that he did that but also if you guys have kissed or he's gone down on you wht would blood be weird.

I cut my thumb real deep at work once and I stuck it In my mouth on my way to the bathroom, it slows the bleeding, cleans the cut and also dosent drip blood on the floor everywhere, plus I'm not worried about my own blood cause I cany catch anything new from myself lol

I guess he cared. But that's really dangerous! We were told as kids never to touch anyone elses blood. It reacts with our immune system in so many ways. Perhaps he'll be okay but mucus is literally the path to transmission of an unwanted infection or immune reaction. Also his mouth has terms and you don't want any direct contact from him on a cut. To be on the safe side use antiseptic wipes on your cut and wash it put a band aid on it regularly.
