As a westerner, I would say Westerners have a tendency to believe that they are the most educated out of all the group. So when it comes to arguing on topics that involve sexism, racial injustice, or other challenging topics that aren't black and white, WE believe that our ideas are the least flawed and most expertly debated.
As for topic wise stuff, in a majority patriarchal world, westerners (particularly conservative christians) force their views on their opposing debaters. I'm not saying this solely happens/is caused by one side, both sides of politics and religion have these types of people.

Woman taking advantage of children is so statistically nominal, when compared to men taking advantage of children, that it is almost laughable on its face.
Nobody agrees? Honey, the LAW and majority of people agree women take advantage of children a lot. Just look around the news, and talk to people. Look at my questions, and you will see. Honestly, in my experience, the majority of men are so emotionally fragile that they mentally cannot handle being challenged unless it's a topic on which they already feel ready to be challenged or if the challenge comes from a *man* they highly respect.
Additionally, many, if not most men, also unconsciously assume that they are more intelligent and knowledgeable than any female they meet, so it's the perfect toxic masculinity storm for a strange woman on the internet to unexpectedly challenge them on a topic they feel settled about (despite their opinion being based on tradition, not reason).
