Because those are wildly different things? Sexuality is innate, diet is determined by many outside factors

  Being vegetarian is an option. Some people choose to be vegetarian for health reasons and others do it because they aren’t comfortable eating animals. Either way, you can stop/start that diet anytime you want. You can’t just stop being gay. A lot of young kids and teens absolutely hate themselves for being gay because they get bullied for it, kicked out by their families, and there are still countries in the world who execute gay people. There are teens who commit suicide because their families don’t accept who they are or they’re told they’re going to burn in hell. Why would someone choose to live that lifestyle? If all your issues could go away if you could just simply choose to be straight, then most people would do it. But that’s not how sexuality works, if you’re gay then you’re gay, no matter how much you try to suppress it.
