I am also curious what the difference for guys are that were circumcised when they were adults. Does it have an affect on your sex life/ mastrubation? Would you be mad at your parents who circumcised you when you were kids? I am very ambivalent. I personally dont want to circumcise my future sons but due to the pressure of culture, i dont have much option. I hope my future husband is open minded and let the kids decide for themself.

There is a preponderance of evidence that shows that EVERY STI there is from HPV to HIV to urinary tract infections, gonorrhea and syphilis would have a precipitous drop in infection rates if all men were circumcised.

This isn't about being "respectful" of your male son's body. This is about PREVENTING DISEASE SPREAD. That little flap harbors all kinds of anerobic bacteria that infect the penis and spread infections to men or women who that male has sex with.

Removing the prepuce keeps the head of the penis dry and clean. The intact prepuce stays damp, collects drops of urine and when a little boy IS a little boy, children do NOT keep themselves or their penises clean.

Other than the MOST important part of circumcision, circumcised men appear to have fewer problems with premature ejaculation because their penises are used to rubbing against material: underwear, pants, so they aren't hypersensitive.

There are screwball men who feel they have been robbed because they were circumcised at birth, but this is a ridiculous fantasy. They've been given a gift that prevents them causing cervical cancer in their female partners or passing on HPV, the clap or syphilis or a HOST of other STIs to sexual partners.

The incidence of those STIs has been climbing because so many people are doing it "raw." Another ridiculous practive. Condoms stop all bacterial diseases from spreading and most viral ones. Wrap that rascal.

Circumcising your soon is a disease preventative that a parent needs to consider FOR their child. You don't ask your child if they want to have their childhood illnesses vaccinations, do you? This is the same thing.

If anything commonsense tells us that it may be even more likely to spread disease, as it leaves micro-tears inside of the vagina (gliding mechanism removed). Sweet of you. The fact is circumcision has gotten a bad rap from a minority of nuts who want to equate it to FEMALE CIRCUMCISION!!! Lunatics. I said when a penis with a foreskin is exposed to HPV, HIV, the clap and syphilis, the area UNDER THE FORESKIN is a perfect place to grow those bacteria and viruses. THOSE INFECTIONS will be spread to a woman during sex and lead to cervical cancers. No uninfected penis of any kind causes trouble. Circumcised OR uncircumcised penises with infections are harmful. However, uncircumcised penises are linked to cervical cancers BECAUSE of the foreskin. I didn't make this up. It's not your fault or the foreskin's fault. It's just a fact of the matter. I was cut at birth. My best friend was not cut. We were friends from like 3 or 4 and were masturbating together daily. He rarely used anything to masturbate with unlike me that used hand lotion. Yes, all a guy has to do is wash his dick and he won't smell like fish and have cheesy discharge after a day but, c'mon... guys still don't wash their hands after they use the toilet. Honestly it feels like a difficult thing for people to really compare since most of us only know the one or the other.
Historically the reason was hygienic. Showering once every two weeks makes that a null point. Hopefully people shower more than that, but all the same hygiene is not a very valid reason anymore.

Circumcision in the U. S was popularized to prevent boys from masturbating by making it harder/unpleasant. Obviously didn't work but hey, that is the actual reason it is practiced.

Medically it has little significant impact. Sexually it should somewhat desensitize men who are circumcised. After all it is a protective hood serving a similar function to a skin moistener. Hygiene is the TOP reason for circumcision: to prevent STI spread. Circumcision lessens every incidence of STIs GREATLY. I've never heard of this "it would stop kids from masturbating" thing. It is a penis head protector. The moistening factor for the penis is the "precum" that oozes out of the urethra before sex due to arousal. The skin of the penis and testicles should be kept dry or they will develop jock itch. .

circumcised: can feel every move in sex and have a lower risk of having dangerous bacteria but some of them can cum in under a minute (average) and most girls enjoy having sex with them more than uncircumcised

I can tell you first hand, don't hesitate in having a son circumcised ! All of the negative things you may read about 'uncut', mutilation, "natural" etc. is simply and vulgarly put 'BULLSHIT ! My mother was smart enough (her mother was a nurse) to have me and my brother circumcised, and have our tonsils removed.
The reasons are many and varied. Before I rave on, go on line and research the incidence of cervical cancer of women who are married to uncircumcised men. First, the head of the penis does NOT dry out and become rough, if it is not covered with foreskin. Secondly, have you ever seen a flaccid or erect uncircumcised penis? My step son was not circumcised, and he would not take gym classes in HS because other guys laughed at his penis with all of the 'sock' hanging from the end.
Most women, at least a few, prefer the look of the head, and rim of the head rather than the foreskin covering it. Oral sex is not pleasant with an uncircumcised penis and a girlfriend told me she always wanted to pull the skin back and wash the head and the skin underneath before she sucked his penis.
