Maybe they're making a condom collection. Personally, I 'd never use anything but US condoms because I know they undergo stringent testing and have low failure rates.
I don't think someone returning with condoms means anything at all except they don't want to get involved in someone getting pregnant.

But out of curiosity, what was special about these condoms, that she bought them in Mexico? Tingling? Colours? Glow in the dark? Extra large? Hypoallergenic?
