I guess I'm one of those outdated men. It's true that a female pedophile is using a boy for her own pleasure, but as long as it's consensual, I don't see a problem with it. According to general thinking, it's the MAN who's supposed to be chasing after the woman, the MAN is supposed to be confident, the MAN is supposed to know what he's doing, etc. If a man isn't chasing after a woman, then people think he's queer, or weird, or somehow less of a man.
It's a double standard, I know, but whether we like it or not, that's how it is. There are men who commit suicide or get hostile to women in general (like Elliot Rodger) just because they can't figure out how to connect with a woman. A female pedophile might actually be helping these guys out by 'educating' them, and making them less dangerous.
