I am not going to call this a disadvantage, but I've been confronted, antagonized and even beat up by troubled men, when I was around and they wanted to cross a line with a girl. They could just sense I wasn't going to just going to look away or ignore it.
In the cases in which I knew the person, of course I would get in harms way for her.
This can be a very real situation for many, and for men, at leas for me, it can be really troubling when the case happens that you just can't do more or anything to help, unless you're willing to actually die or get seriously injured. This can be very heavy on the mind, but such is life.
And for the record, I do not have any intention to compare this "struggle" that has happened a few times, to the struggles women face on the daily against such troubled men. I know very well there's no comparison at all. I just wanted to share the difficulties that at some times a man can face, related to our tendencies to protect, others.
Wtf? Sounds like you were around a bunch of crazy men. And yeah that’s the thing, being physically stronger than women doesn’t protect men again other men. Especially when they are in groups.

I must admit that, in a way, it is a burden because the world is mostly patriarchal because we are the physically stronger sex. It gave us a power to assert our will against any objections from those who do not have that power (women).
This is explored in the award-winning 2016 novel "The Power" by Naomi Alderman. In that novel, women gain a power to give electric jolts that can be strong enough to kill. No males have this power. As a result, the world transitions rather violently from a patriarchal civilization to a matriarchal one.

Tbh if you’re talking about muscle this is a fact. But if we’re talking about the body and longevity of it then yea, I would say women are stronger

We don’t have to protect you. Being bigger and strong requires more expenditure of energy. Thus everything we do takes more effort. We also need to eat higher calorie diets to fuel all that work we do.

I don't understand your question. You listed that "having to protect women" is a disadvantage of being stronger than they are. I don't see it as a disadvantage, I see it as a huge ADVANTAGE because it gives me great pleasure to be able to perform this role. I love being a man and protecting women.
It doesn’t matter what you see it as. Women are also put before men in terms of safety because men are physically stronger. And if you guys didn’t put women in danger, y’all wouldn’t have to play this “role” in the first place. So that kinda of xs it out, of it being a good thing.

We're expected to take the lead all the time or risk rejection more than women are, people say the reason why men are expected to take all of the emotional risk when it comes to risking rejections such as talking to a woman first or asking her out first.
They make it out to be, that if a guy can't handle being rejected by her, then he won't be able to handle the world for her.
but it doesn't necessarily mean that a woman needs a guy like that anymore today, because we live in a different world today.
But apparently our minds still operate the same way they did in prehistoric times
