And that's not just semantics; in several states, the MAXIMUM punishment a woman can get for the act is less than the MINIMUM punishment a man would. Many will justify it, saying that "men always want it". That's bull, of course; many don't- hell, if nothing else, he could be in a relationship. It's true that men are much more likely to accept a sexual proposition than women are, but if they won't say no, what's the harm in insisting you ask?

As an added "bonus", more than 80% of adult male rapists were sexually abused themselves- usually as children, and mostly by women (as most rapists target the opposite gender). So you get raped, you get congratulated, and you logically assume that sexual assault isn't actually a big deal- until YOU do it. The whole situation is awful.
