Is it normal for one’s mouth/face to be soaked after they eat you out?

I would say please answer this question if you are 18 years old or older.
This is an awkward question, but I need an answer. When my boyfriend goes down on me (eats me out) his face is usually drenched. He usually needs to take a towel to wipe it all away.
