Do you think it’s wrong to kink shame someone’s sexual kink?

Whether you personally think what they’re into is gross weird or too painful to you does it mean you should shame them for it?
as long as it’s all consensual safe and legal who cares right?

  • Depends what you class as a kink.

for some anything beyond martial sex in the martial bed between the ages of 21 and 31 is kinky.

that includes masturbation, anal sex, oral sex, cumming on body parts etc, all technically kinky.

and no people should really mind their own business, unless of course it harms you or harms another person then, however then it’s not they are being kinky, have a fetish etc it’s the fact there is a duty of care.

even if you found out a work colleague went dogging, then nothing to do with you unless has some impact on their job, even then it’s not about standing on desk and telling everyone in office.

a bit like slut shaming kink shaming can have huge repercussions for young adults under 18, who are experimenting with life and then some moral fuckwit tells rest of school, Jenny sent photos to her girlfriend and talked about being tied up. Someone that was guilty of shaming someone over that, I would gladly leave tied to a tree in a big cat enclosure, holding an eat all you can buffet sign.

    • slather the shamer in honey and drop them into a giant anthill works too

    • then again either option could turn out to be their kink

  • We all have our kinks. Nothing wrong with that and shaming people to just shame them is wrong. But if the kink is an immoral idea we should say something.
I dont like being called Daddy it makes me feel sleezy but some woman love saying it.

    • what's your opinion of an "immoral" kink?

    • well having sex with someone pretending its incest. Jerking off in the womans room. Stuff you know isn't right. Had a girl call me daddy. Another crying out her brothers name

Most Helpful Girls

  • As long as it IS legal, and CONSENSUAL, it’s absolutely NONE of my business, in fact how would I even know about it unless they told me? And if they DID tell me, and I believe it to be gross… I am entitled to say “ewww, gross!” If whomever it is doesn’t want to risk hearing “ewww gross” then don’t tell me about anything gross you do to yourself (or others). Just my humble opinion.

  • Of course, they like what they like just like you do and it's wrong to judge them for it, unless they're fucking with kids or animals or some illegal shit. THEN you can judge them

  • Finding something gross isn't the same as kink shaming. Calling someone sick, gross, perv for it is...

  • VERY WRONG. If all the consenting adults are into it, there’s nothing wrong with it.

  • I wouldn’t kink shame anyone. It’s not my pace but there are certain kinks I won’t indulge in.
This one guy I used to date had a thing for hypnosis. Never worked but I played along because that’s what he liked.

  • Kink shaming is my kink

    • Lol !!

  • This should be a poll question and yes, kink shaming is wrong. That's why QAnon is annoying. What healthy American among us DOESN'T crave the blood of a tender child? :)

  • Kinda rude to do so, but not wrong. As long as they're not doing creepy shit and it's consensual.

  • In general yes, but some kinks (enemas for example) are just weird. Still, I personally would never kink shame anyone.

    • However an enema, may simply be something you do prior to anal play. Then it’s a non sexual thing and simply being hygienic. Obviously different if used with BDSM, butt plug etc.

    • @ChrisMaster69 I meant like getting turned on by giving someone an enema But even that I would never shame the person over. Just not in my nature. I just wouldn’t get mad or judge someone else for shaming them over that particular kink. I know. I’m weird and I split hairs sometimes lol. Comes with being a lawyer 😊.

    • I split hairs over everything lmao. Me I treat everyone one with respect etc. Also being active in BDSM, I sort of have a vested interest in the thread. If someone slut shamed one of my ex’s, they would have a very rude awakening.

  • Uh, what business is it of yours? Do they shame you on what you do in your bedroom?

  • Well technically pedophilia, beastiality (probably spelling that wrong), incest and necrophilia are all fetishes so in those situations it most definitely is

    • Other than those

    • Well there’s still others like coprophilia which is just gross

  • I know people who kink shame behind people's back

Which is best but the problem is i have to listen to them complain about it behind people's back

  • For me. Whatever gets u off. as long as IT DOES NOT harm another person, child, or animal, then do u...

  • no you should not

  • I dont think its right, people dont exactly choose their kink.

  • That's just it, some kinks are illegal, so they should be shamed.

  • Yes! Why are others checking them out in the first place if they're afraid to admit they are most likely into freakier shit?

  • There definitely are some fetishes to be shamed

    • Which ones?

  • Aside from those really taboo ones, that's basically just like discrimination of someone's sexuality because that is something they cannot control. But even if those kinks were taboo, that is still something they have no control of and shaming don't exactly solve anything unless they take actions of it.
