Girls, Would you let your pubic hair grow if your man asked?

For some reason I've always preferred women who have a bit of hair down there. I guess it just looks more mature to me but it's just a minor personal preference.

My girlfriend currently shaves the whole area but I want to ask her to just let it grow a bit and maybe just give it a light trim when the Bush gets wild.
Is it rude to ask? I mean she may say no, thats fine but is it a weird thing to bring up?
Would you let the hair grow if your partner wanted?

I'm pretty unusual as I do have some pubic hair, but it is well trimmed

Tbh we don't go to the beach a lot. We have a hot tub at the house but it's private so we usually just go naked.
