Do u think"RAPE" has lost its meaning?

desclaimer:this quesn is bout to be long, so I'd prefer u to follow it so u incase u lose it u get it back and share ur opinion
https://youtu.be/8M7KGe2UnmE
So this was a video i was watching many days ago and thought to put this question
Well the following video is bout a bunch of ladies calling themselves feminists and putting stereotypical claims on the name of questions and I'd not consider them feminist by my opinion
But looking back at the main definition of feminism of women trying to prove "that it's not a shame to be a women" to "all women are victims" the meaning has gone drastic changes lately
And so has the definition of rape
From not being a crime at all some 100yrs back to being taken seriously.
And rape is a crime coz it harms the person sexually physically and also mentally telling them that they r weak and they r not rightfully owning their body they way they want (basically they can be mistreated again while they can't do anything against it) even leading to deaths (due to severe rapes physically or by mental suffocation... and that is why it is a severe crime
But like the definition of feminism do u think the definition of rape as well has changed? That people have taken it lightly now
While the spectrum of rape has increased to give justice to married women as well and more... a kiss is considered as rape as well... I'm not saying it's right in any way... but it is kind of physical harassment right? How is it rape? ... or the definition of rape has just gone bizzare now towards women and men
While stupid claims r being made up as rape there r also cases where people r being accused as rape for sex that they didn't feel enjoyable or men being falsely being accused for rape.. while there r a lot of examples where women r not charged by hitting men while vice versa has cost men a lot
While also rape being treated as a gender related crime and not gender neutral
Not helping the victims in anyway but making women seem stupid like in video
Do u thinkRAPE has lost its meaning?
Do u thinkRAPE has lost its meaning?
Do u thinkRAPE has lost its meaning?
No, it all seems fair... women r indeed victims of society

(in options) Getting better i mean getting more equal in gender terms Also these kind of definitions leading to make many men think that women r selfish playing victim card of rape and misusing it against men (that you'd see in MGTOW men a lot often)

Also what r view on the vid above and "can men be raped and so rape should be a gender neutral crime?"

  • Rape has been an issue since the dawn of time.
Chastity belts and several medieval devices were even constructed to prevent rape..

You don’t notice it because it doesn’t affect you as severely being a male, so it’s easy to take it as an issue that’s unserious.

    • Lol.. sounds good that u think good of our ancestors
Coz by my knowledge years back.. women were punished for being raped if not marrying their rapist after that...
That's not my question tho... my question is
      Difference between
      https://youtu.be/8hC0Ng_ajpY

      this and this
      m.facebook.com/.../

While one is trying to make people understand that rape is not victims fault in the first video by sarcasm..
there r people labelling anything rape that has nothing to do with rape
(Watever is said in the 2nd vid is equally applicable to boys as well and has nothing to do with a person who has suffered sexual assault)

  • "Rape" had not lost its meaning and its definition has not changed.
Rape, sexual assault, attempted rape, and sexual harassment are all different.
I've never heard anyone claim an unwanted kiss as rape.

    • Also didn't vote since all of your option are dumb.

    • It'd be great if u gave a better option... i myself couldn't of more than those I think ur opinion is no different from option A that i gave above Maybe u just had some understanding prblm with the optionz And if u haven't heard of any case doesn't mean they don't exist I live in their India and if I've seen rape cases I've also seen fake rape accusations at least i have heard of a case where during a one night stand a lady accused the man for rape coz she didn't enjoy it And also of a case of a man who did the same thing

  • But the word has so many meanings.
It's like the word love, that has a lot of meaning s , but people only think of the romantic type
    Rape has the same problem.

    • I agree...
But what is being named as raped and women's modesty thing don't u think it's losing it's path and making it easier to target innocents as well for those who make false accusations of rape
Like the video above... does it maje any sense what the ladies talk?

Like the last image out of the three i posted in my question

    • You are wanting to change cultural thing. Women are borderline slaves. Their rights don't exist, in the real life. I don't agree in how these women are treated. This got far beyond rape. They are even misrepresented in their religion.

    • I agree that women r treated like slaves... more than humans they r treated as boobs and vagina carriers... but it doesn't really justify the way term rape is misused giving ease to false accusations or such accusations that can't really be called rape... physical harassment is still a thing I'd accept

    • Show All
  • For sure.

Many women these days think rape is "any sexual encounter that I regret, feel uncomfortable about."

    • Ya... many even exaggerate it to a different kind of shit lvl Like the 3rd image i posted in my question

    • I understand that even forceful kissing you n wrong but doesn't it come under sexual or physical harassment and not rape

  • I stopped reading after you defined the original meaning of feminism incorrectly. What a load of garbage.

    • Why the fuk did u even bother to type the opinion? Anyways i won't blame u... the words were limited and i couldn't explain myself properly and i doubt if people even understood what i really meant Anyways as u aren't interested why should i bother... U may with the girls in the video that i linked up

    • Why did you even bother writing this question? Why did you bother replying to my opinion? You could have actually done some research not just spit out garbage made up "facts" 😌

  • Boys should not be posing questions like this.

    • So what kind of question should boys pose? How much inches of penis is perfect? Such types?

  • Consent is for the most part impossible to prove/disprove unless its a situation with forcible rape, coercion via blackmail, or something related to age of consent. There are clear legal definitions on some issues, but consent will always make the boundaries of rape very vague. It’s a he said she said sort of situation and how a jury would see it all depends on their random judgment of your character and integrity as a person. It’s too subjective to return good results. There was never a good definition for consent so rape has always been open ended and subject to exploitation by sociopaths that are willing to lie. The lengths to which feminist take the perversion of the word rape is outlandish though...

    • Agree... that's what i too think... women r taking privileges over rights while men are making the lives of women worse to such an extent that there is no other option than to give privileges to women for their safety... that is being misused to rush n life of innocent men easily while the actual victims r still struggling the after effects of rape and doubts of fake accusations by people

  • I clicked the wrong one I meant Option A... When I was scrolling I bumped D. Sorry!!! But yes I meant option A

    • Good u clarified it... or it would confuse the guys if any girl here is more sexist with the rape mentality

    • Well ur vote at A doesn't sound really good to me anyways... but fine

    • Well I got raped numerous times by family so I am a little bias I guess

    • Show All
  • Definitely

    • In what terms? Is it good or bad?

    • It's used too often where it shouldn't

  • Newspeak doesn't work.
We already have a new name for it.

    • what new name

  • Rape is rape. Getting drunk and consenting to sex isn't rape. I hope you all have that straight now.

  • I voted D just because its so ridiculous I couldn't resist

  • Legally? No
The issue is it gets thrown as a blanket statement today.

    • Hmm... agreed... judy does take care of people justice... But honestly there was a incident in India where some ladies protested against rape being a gender neutral law... and guess what... they changed the law back for rape to be a lady law... and in a country where power is not really given to the ones incharge have to work within the written law itself... so brought a thought

    • That just seems like a recipe for disaster, but to each their own.

    • Yea... it is indeed... now the drama just started again... but hope this time it gets gender neutral without much bullshit. (Thankx to trans)

  • No but the thing to remember that as many women are just as bad as men. Women will often throw out a rape allegation in revenge or to get attention. I'd imagine that as many men that are rapist there are at least as many women that are false accusers.

    • Yes... unknowingly the rapist and false accusers r going hand in hand... Confusing people and even jury when not enough evidence by the victims... while making the society more insecure for women as well as innocent men in terms of society and people's mindset Like for example i had seen a case where a man was false accused for a rape while he was innocent, he spent 20yrs in prison and by time was decided innocent his all property and all turned into dust and sold... while another case of a woman was acid attack nearly 4-5 times after being raped by rapists (while the case was ongoing) and she couldn't really prove that the rapists were behind the attack (I don't know if rapists were given punishment or no or if the case is still ongoing)

  • The usage has changed. Women now call anything that hurts their feelings "rape" along with all sorts of other things they dislike.

    • Lile a tool to play victom card?

    • exactly.

  • Rape is rape

    • Yes! It is Assault But do u think it has made it harder to spot the false rape accusations? Or the way now men women r treated? Like if both r drunk and don't remember that they had consent b4 sex.. so can it be said that they raped each other? Or can even man be raped or only woman can be raped? Coz in July 2020 India made rape. Gender neutral crime but then due to some women protest they took the bill back... do you think it's fair?

    • Would u call this rape?
      m.facebook.com/watch/?v=358740790997217&_rdr

Imagine u urself are a cop and a girl comes and says the things as mentioned above
And at the same time comes a girl bleeding and injured to u telling she was actually raped by a gang of men... whim will u give priority to? Whom would u relate more to rape?
I feel they r just treating the issue like a joke naming literally everything as rape instead of making a proper word

    • Why would it be harder to spot false accusations? What seems to be hard is to send a rapist in jail for all his crimes.

    • Show All
  • Feminists have turned "rape" into a joke.

    • That's what I'm trying to ask... And what u think if the situation will be better or just worse
