If women did not want to get cat called then why do they dress in sexy clothing?

I can only assume women dress in sexy provocative clothing to gain attention from men and to put the other females in their place. I mean I don't get up in the morning to strap on a 12" prosthetic penis and walk around town with it hanging down the inside of my pant leg only to have girls ogle me with gasps.

So what's the deal? Women dress sexy and nice because they want attention, so if you did not dress in provocative clothing then you would not get cat called as much. I am a firm believer that you dress accordingly and is a reflection of what you wish to accomplish. Like why do women dress up in mini skirts and tits hanging out half way to go to a nightclub? Sure have fun, dance and get noticed by men...

I know women will throw up the argument that men should not treat women like sex objects because of what she wears and she has the right to dress like a prostitute on a Friday night making her rounds without issues. Well not my fault if cars stop and ask you how much for services.

  • I think it would be better to define "cat-calling" first. Some women get triggered from saying hi, or noticing one of her nipples is about to jump out and saying that might need some attention. If my fly was undone and showing I'd want to know.

    But what is catcalling? Whistling and hollering from a doorstep or construction site or something? I remember doing that a few times doing commercial projects, because damn are they boring, tedious, and difficult. We'd whistle at a 90 year old man and say how much we want his babies to get some giggles and keep motivation up. It isn't like you have a TV, or can safely do anything on your phone in a fall harness.

    There is free speech, even to act like a jackass. It's when your actions, you know, harm someone else physically, like if we were tossing rocks and nails off the roof, that you're violating other people's rights. That would have been amusing too, but would have lost us contracts.

    Anyway, most of my contracts were with Africans and people from the Middle East. Guys make the money, women control how it's spent in the home. I might be talking, eating and/or drinking with the guys later, but 90% of the time it was the wife who hired me, paid me, and had no issues.
