Whats your take on Extended Breastfeeding as it is becoming pretty common these days.
There are many mums out there who are doing it for couple years and upto 5 years too.
There are some who are doing it even upto 10 years and i have read in paper or magazines that in some cases mums take it upto 15 years too but thats rare though.

Superb Opinion

  • A, E and F please!

It’s beautiful, normal, natural, one of the most loving things a mother can do for her child.

BREASTFEEDING DOES NOT HAVE AN EXPIRATION DATE. It is nothing like bottle feeding it is the strongest emotional connection I have ever felt in my life.

I am proud to have breastfed both my children 3.5-4 years. One of them I had to gently encourage to wean, but I do not regret a thing!

The US has some fucked up views on breastfeeding. Breasts are mammary glands, literally designed to feed babies. Sure they serve for sexual pleasure as well, but mothers can compartmentalize.

I have some beautiful professional pics like the ones you posted and I cherish them.

    • Thanks darling and i totally agree with u n in entirety I always feel so good when my boys get their milk from me... its something so undesirable but so pleasant emotionally My boyfriend thinks i should keep on till our boys are 10.. And wow u mean ur own pics professionally taken or just some random

    • Professional breastfeeding photos. ❤️❤️❤️ And I feel the absolute same. It was such an amazing feeling to feed my boys my milk.

    • I can imagine n understand how u felt

I nursed mine. Everywhere and anywhere. I nursed My daughter until she was 3 and then gave her my milk in a sippy until she was 4. My son I nursed until he was 5. I could have gone longer but I had to have a surgery and the meds I was going to br on wouldn't be good for him. there's nothimg wrong with breastfeeding extendedly. It's an old tradition which has its benefits.
If I was blessed with another little one I would certainly do extended nursing again!

    • How many times a day did they feed from your nipples?

    • @ChattyGuy43 Ha as if thats easy to keep track lol When they are tiny newborns its anywhere from every 1hr and a half to 3 hours between feedings. When they are having a growth spurt they can demand to be fed every hour (Or 45mins) to 2 hours (Or 1hr and a half) and groth spurt can last anywhere from 1 day to 3 until our body adjust the milk supply and the nutrient composition to meet the childs new needs

    • Ok it doesn't matter about the size of your boobs but how big were your nipples when you were feeding them?

  • You are misinformed. Most women prefer breast feeding and most doctors strongly recommend it. Until the 20th century, most cultures encouraged breast feeding as long as possible. Children who breast feed have stronger bonds with their mothers. Ones who breast feed for an extended period of time are less prone to disciplinary problems and do better in school. Prior to the twentieth century most financially well off families hired nurse maids. A nurse maid was hired to breast feed children. That might go on right up until a child is old enough to go away to university or learn a trade so anywhere from 10 to say about 14 years of age both genders. Chinese emperors breast fed well into adulthood.

    • Well yess i myself agree n believe in all that honey But i have come across people opposing it

    • I agree with everything you said besides being “misinformed” unfortunately in the US and wherever @elizamichale1 lives (UK?) we are judged for continuing to breastfeed our children and unfortunately most women don’t do it and doctors are misinformed. My sons doctor told me my breastmilk suddenly turned to water on my sons first birthday. I shit you not. 🤔🤦🏻‍♀️

    • @loves2learn yeah i am in UK My GP is pretty supportive though

  • I simply left Brest feeding to my wife (ex) and she did all the meal times, although we did have alternative nights when I was at home.

she continued with out daughter for a good while, fuck known how long, I was invariably not there.

it’s a mother child thing, if guys had boobs, then they could influence society more.

ifs annoying when some fuckwit complains about a women feeding her child, it’s natural. Prude the lot of them

    • So good an opinion n thanks

    • @chrismaster69 perfectly stated. I ❤️ you even more.

    • No problem, it highlights that amazing ability of boobs. Another. Why they are marvels of nature. Bet you Mother Nature is stacked.

  • i don't put a limit on age... it's between the mother and child

    • Absolutely right opinion to have

    • @chrissykerdock As it should be, I also stopped putting limit on age, as WHO also said it’s between and and child to decide. People see breastfeeding only as a food for kid, but it’s mostly a way for kid to bond with mother. I have a 3.5 yr old child who still breastfeeds and is no way near weaning it.

  • Depends on how good-looking you are, ain't it.

    • Lol its not that i m feeding adults its for the children

    • Don't have to be so stingy!

    • Hehe well actually i m not

  • I didn’t like any of the stupid options you had 😂 any ways how about I don’t care. I don’t see anything wrong with it would I do it? Absolutely not past the time they can eat regular food! But I see absolutely nothing wrong with it for a mother to want to do. At the same time of others or there is reason to believe the mothers is a 🥜 nut job maybe check that out.

    • Really? But well thanks for ur time n opinion honey N no darling no mum would be nut job to do it

    • I’m with @elizamichale. Weaning is a process not a sudden thing. It should happen over years. Solid food does not replace Breastmilk until much later.

    • @loves2learn so true

  • I used to love breast-feeding my kids it’s a special time when they’re little like that. My first husband liked it to and I really enjoyed letting him suckle on me. My boobs don’t produce milk anymore but the thought of breast-feeding a guy before he fucks me gets me all hot and bothered. I’ve thought about inducing but just never went through with it. After my breast augmentation I really like the way my boobs look right now not sure I want to hinder that.
    P. S. nobody should care if a woman is pulling her boobs out to breast-feed it’s a natural thing of life. Get over it!

    • You are sooo right n i can totally understand ur feelings honey n yes u should try inducing

    • I know the thought of inducing gets my juices flowing. Sidenote to my first post - boobs or boobs I don’t think women should cover them anyways like why is that considered nudity.

    • 100% 🥰 I love this!

  • A woman should breastfeed for as long as she has milk for her kids, no matter how old they get as long as they want mommy's milk.

    • So true! Thank you for saying this. 🥰

    • @loves2learn you're welcome, and feel free to PM me if you want to talk about it

    • So true n right Thanks for support

  • I don't like the idea of it. But if it's to be done, it would be much better to use a breast pump and then feed the child the milk out of a normal cup, instead of having him or her latch onto the breast with their mouth. That's very inappropriate after a certain age.

    • @flower7 The milk isn’t the point. It’s the comfort they feel skin to skin with their mother. Breasts are mammary glands. Not sexual organs.

    • @loves2learn Ok, I see. Breast-feeding is known for helping with bonding.

    • @flower7 exactly. It is. Breastfed children come to their mother to cope with big emotions. It’s how they eventually learn to cope with them independently. My boys are so confident and attached. I’ve never had tears at a preschool or school drop off. They know their mama is coming back.

  • A breast will make milk as long as someone is sucking on it. It's "nature".

At 5 years old there is not really any benefit from having breast milk. The immune system is already pretty well built, normal food is giving the kid most of all the vitamins, minerals and energy they need. The amount of breast milk is also not enough to sustain such a big child anymore in any case, so it would be like giving milk vitamin tablets.

    • Hehe but aren't those vitamin tabs good though

  • Academy of American Pediatrics recommends an exclusive breast diet for a minimum of 6 months and continue to at least 12 months of age. The WHO says minimum 2 years.

There are other considerations too. At 10-15, kid's gonna have friends. There's a social component that the child may have to contend with that could potentially bring on unnecessary social and emotional stress.

And there must be a limit no? I mean, I'd assume, that if a guy takes out a girl on a date for dinner, he's not serving up mom.

There are benefits that cannot be understated to breastfeeding children. But what happens in people's homes is nobody's business.

    • I posted too early and there's no edit. I voted B, mostly because there will be a time that the child will have to interact socially with other kids, and kids can be hella cruel. Something like breastfeeding's benefits do not justify the need for a child's having to deal with that.

    • Yes u r right but there are many mums who are doing it till age 5 n i have personally met few mums n kids who did or are still doing it at age 10 n trust me they are absolutely fine n actually quite happy n confident about it

  • I wish I was breastfed till 15!

    • Aah great but why do u wish so n for how long were u actually breastfed

    • I don't know how long I was, don't remember. First of all it's good for our health, probably the more we breastfeed the better, with never becoming a negative thing. We're designed to breastfeed, not doing it is as sad as kings castrating slaves. Because it involves emotions too, not just about nutrition. Possibly it's because I'm a male and am coming up with endless excuses to see more naked women.

    • well this is definitely true that it is only n only helpful n a source of energy for us hehe n yea i can understand u guys can be cheeky too

  • I don't think you should be breast feeding past school age. Also don't know why the hell you would want to ouch. 5 years is enough chapped nips.

    • Mine didn’t chap. It was very enjoyable for me and my babies.

    • I think there is no harm continuing it past school age tbh

    • I'm thinking more of a psychological impact. It's not exactly the norm and if any other kids found out they would definitely be picked on.

    • @emmamary I used to say that, tbh, until my son was 10 months and I realized there was no way we were quitting.

    • @elizamichale1 I trust you know the old saying that "It Takes One To Recognise One" xxx

  • It’s actually really healthy and good for mental health. If you cut them off before they’re ready it can lead to behavioral problems. As well as the health benefits it gives the mom. You’re at reduced risk of cervical & breast cancer (: as long as you and baby are comfortable keep at it.

    • So i'm guessing you extended your breastfeeding then?

    • @ChattyGuy43 indeed I did

    • How much longer did you feed for?

    • Show All
  • I'd say that as long as both mother and child are fine it's no problem.
However they should not become codependent.

    • Well its not so much of the dependancy i guess or if there is then its pretty little

    • True!

    • Codependency is not a thing with breastfeeding. Babies and children should have a healthy dependence on both their parents

    • Show All
  • I personally think that a woman can and should value the privacy of that area and I'd encourage a more discreet way of breastfeeding in public. Both I think both indoors and outdoors are completely reasonable to do

    • @jjpayne do tell me, what am I supposed to do when my hungry baby rips the cover off screaming because he is hot and doesn’t understand why he has to use a cover at the Park but not at home? Hmmmmm?

    • @loves2learn I feel like this will always go in a direction like this... I'm forseeing breasts being freed sometime in the near future. All I can say, is I've heard stories from women that encourage eyes be shielded with a wardrobe malfunction and said it's a gentleman thing to do. That being said... I suppose there is the other end of practicality and I'd say it would be probably better to make men ethically wear a top. But I understand your point, being discreet is not practical But I did find the article that tried to free the nipple in 2020. I'm sure they will try again this year or the next 🤔

    • @likelyok, congrats! That is a wonderful accomplishment. 🥰

  • 3 months is all that’s required biologically. The colostrum is a requirement. The milk itself is extremely nutritious. The first 90 are important to build up an immune system. But after 3 months the human body really needs to start ingesting other types of foods. Look at our teeth. We have incisors. Those are for tearing meat off the bone. Humans are omnivores by evolution and genetics. Delaying that is not healthy. My wife breast fed our first born for three months. Two years later we had twins. They were breast fed for three months. They’re all extremely healthy, happy and successful.

I’ve seen children’s that were able to clearly speak “I want booby” and that is just sick.

    • Well my boys r almost 6 (they r twins) n i still breastfeed them n it always feel so emotional whenever they feed off me... n well my boys dont say they want booby n all... if they feel the need they would just come to me pull my top down or up depending wht i m wearing.. n they would just get on with it... they dont disturb anyone or make any noise about it

    • Sorry MrMonogomous. Gonna have to disagree, sir. Breastmilk is nutritious at any age. This “3 months biologically” is very arbitrary. Furthermore. There is nothing sick about a young child stating “I want booby.” That is very normal. Thank you for your opinion but you are sadly misinformed. @elizamichale1 my dear! Long time no chat! So glad to hear your 6 year old twins are doing so well! 🥰

    • Any particular reason why it should be stopped

    • @sarahr123 whew, my youngest weaned 5 days before his 4th birthday. Lol 🤣🤣🤣

    • I don’t have any particular reason but I just think that at some point they get too old to be drinking breast milk. Tbf I found it quite strange when I saw a video on YouTube where grown 7,8,9 year olds were still breastfeeding. I think past the toddler stage it just seems a little strange.

  • Why does it matter?

If you can be gay and change your gender, then why the fuck argue over breastfeeding? Is it because you cannot "have a go?" It really makes me laugh when simpletons try and hide their hardon over bread feeding.
