Why do many men and some women try to deny boys get taken advantage of?

When a woman seduces a underage boy, no matter how horny he is, its taking advantage of him because he Is too young to consent and know what they are doing. This is a fact, no matter how much men would want to fuck older women.

Yet, there are men who get angry when I say that, and say its not taking advantage, some women too. I think it's pathetic and shows I am saying the true, otherwise they wouldn't get mad.

Age of consent is there for a reason. With the girl who was the campanologist I should add age of consent in the UK is 16 not 18 so if anything had happened it wouldn't have been illegal. But even though I was almost 18 (only a couple of weeks under) I wasn't ready.

It would have been an abuse of trust to get involved. I don't get why people don't want to recognise that

I think this is most likely because the people do not fully understand the statistics related to boys being raped since there is most definitely a historical bias of women being more susceptible to rape but modern statistics don't lie the number of boys that are raped every day is definitely much higher than people realize so I think its important for people to be aware of that.

I think that men tend to be imagining how they think they'd have felt at that age, whereas with considering a younger woman, they are listening to what women tell the is their experience.

I don't think many men think it's fine if a boy -they- view as a child has sex who 'doesn't know better'. If you asked me if they think it's okay for women to have sex with an 8 year old boy even if he enjoys it, almost all will say -no-. The question is more about whether a mid teen 'knows better' or 'know what they are doing'. And most men likely think at some point prior to 18, they were able to make that decision for themselves (and likely would have answered with a resounding 'yes' to such an offer from an average, adult woman). And specifically what i mean is... they aren't simply offered sex by a 30 year old man and jump on the opportunity to get some dick.
