Any invitation into a private space has sexual implications, whether it's a camping trip or just to an invitation to a home-cooked meal. There are exceptions but usually that's made plain with the invitation.

So in short, yes, I would assume that if a woman invites me to go camping, she has sexual intentions.

In practice for me, every similar situation I've ever had like that has led to sex or at least sexual activities.

@Jamie05rhs I can't specifically say that EVERYONE thinks that way or anything, but it's pretty common. To the point that, if the girl doesn't want sex to happen, she'll usually say so outright ("I don't want you to get any ideas...") or she'll bring her own tent, or in some other way make it clear that you won't be sleeping together. It's a lot like a girl going with a guy to his hotel room - in most cases, there's only one reason to really do that, and it's implied that sex is going to happen if you do.

@MrOracle Wow. That seems really strange to me. It's just foreign. I've always grown up around nature and the outdoors and the woods/ the forest. It's been a part of my lifestyle from a very young age. And I've gone hiking and camping many times. Even with mixed genders. And there was never ANYTHING sexual about it. I mean, yeah, my cultural background is religious, so maybe that played a part in it. But even with my hippie friends, there wasn't anything sexual about it whatsoever. It was all about being one with the Earth.

@MrOracle Haha alright. I think it was different back then with the sexual revolution and everything. These days people just try to keep things professional. As a matter of fact, outside of religious people, I'd say modern hippies are some of the most sexually conservative people I know. At least in my generation. Of course, I've never asked anyone for sex. But that's just the vibe I get. I think most people just want to network and find ways to build a sustainable future. (Including me.)

@Jamie05rhs Well, the girls in question didn't involve camping, but one I met at a party where I was staying the night, and we had been talking and flirting throughout the evening, and when it was getting late, she asked if it was okay for her to stay too, which was fine - there was plenty of space in the house, including a second guest room and several couches. She followed me into "my" room and immediately got undressed and got into bed, waiting for me to join her. The second girl I had met in a grocery store - I helped her get something from a high shelf - and we started talking, and I was BBQing at my house for a couple of friends, and after describing what I was making, she was saying how good it sounded, so I invited her over, not expecting her to show up. She did, and she stayed behind after my friends left, and I started cleaning up the last few things and she said "do you want to fuck me now?" In both cases, they had assumed that sex was expected and they were happy to do so - and neither expected anything beyond that.
