So please tell me why the hell people's personal life matters to you guys?

I'm mostly referring to anyone here who is against gay or trans people. Like why? It doesn't hurt you or have anything to do with you so why does it matter or bother you in any way? Or is somehow not normal to you? Please explain because I'm super curious now after someone blocked me because she a religious freak and couldn't explain her reason otger than that. Why does who someone loves or has sex with matter to you? Or who they identify as?

  • And what we experience and people are so funny I'm straight I love women women turn me on and the say I was at a party and there was a gay guy there are two or three and they started talking with me we could have the best conversation ever the odds are I already know that they're gay I've been hit on before and it becomes kind of funny because it's something that I might say but I'm not going to judge them it's not my business I'm not going to not like them because they're gay far as I'm concerned everybody on this planet is equal if I don't like somebody giving me a reason to not like that person it has nothing to do with color that has nothing to do with being gay has nothing to do with religion it probably has something to do with their liar or a cheater or a thief are there just a bad person if I don't like somebody because they're a bad person that's what it's for it also is not because of their color are there gay those have nothing to do with each other is funny sometimes how people act and treat other people in a lot of ways it's disgusting so basically I don't like lima beans or oatmeal and I'm supposed to hate everybody that does like lima beans in oatmeal our world and our people makes no sense to me because they are followers they can't think for themselves that should be more disturbing than a color or a sexuality I Can't Tell You Why I really wish I understood

  • Because it doesn't suit their own values and anyone who disagrees with them is 'wrong'.

    I can't stand it when people use religion to do it as well, I mean they can follow religion if they want, that fine, but don't act like other people shouldn't be allowed to do something, just because it goes against that, whether they follow it or not, because non-believers and believing sinners exist.

    Well said, too many religious nut jobs on here trying trying to shove religion down people's throat, especially when combining it with politics, not that people from other sides are totally innocent of that either, just in other ways.

    Personally, I don't think that trans people are biological to the gender in which they transition too, but they've still got the right to do what they want to their own bodies and I'm not not going to refuse to be friends with someone if they did that, because I'm not a dick.

  • For most people, it doesn't. Oh, to be sure, there are bigots out there, who rant and rave about the existence of anyone different from them, but most of the objections you'll hear aren't about the private lives of strangers, but the changes to laws, policies, and social philosophies being rammed down our throats in the name of "acceptance". As in so many cases, it's not the people in question (trans folks, in this case); it's the activists.

  • The vast... and I mean VAST majority of people could not give even half of a shit about what people do with their lives. There is an extraordinarily small group of angry and spiteful people who insert themselves in other people's lives for a sense of power and control.

  • I'm not against gay or transgender people so my view might not be accurate, but I get the impression that people falsely believe that liberals want gay and trans people to be viewed better than cis and straight people, when the reality is that we really want them to be seen as equal.

    • Why do so many conservatives and Christians refuse to accept trans people? They didn’t choose to be that way. It isn’t something that can just be cured. The only treatment is to transition to the opposite sex of that which they are born as.

  • It doesn't. I'm not against something you are born with. I don't even believe in anything like sexuality. We are attracted to whatever we find attractive and it's normal (except for underage people obviously). However I am against acting on being bi or gay. I don't agree with same gender sexual activities because it's a sin and I don't agree with sex outside marriage either. I follow what I believe and if you ask me about what is right and wrong I will be blunt. But that's what I believe. I am not forcing others to believe what I believe.

    • But the bible also says it's a sin to wear 2 different types of fabric at once. And that you can beat and sell you daughter as a prostitute. And that slavery is ok
