Superb Opinion

  • That is very basic biology we learn at school. Both hormones are needed for a correct development and inner workings of our body. They are just more involved in specific sexual traits, so women have more estrogen and men more testosterone.

    • I wonder what happens if one of the hormones is missing

    • Pasting directly from wiki. (About estrogen) "In males, estrogen regulates certain functions of the reproductive system important to the maturation of sperm and may be necessary for a healthy libido." (About testosterone) "Anabolic effects include growth of muscle mass and strength, increased bone density and strength, and stimulation of linear growth and bone maturation" So, yeah, both are important regardless of sex.

  • Lesbians are more likely to have a hormone imbalance the results in significantly higher levels of free testosterone.

    • What about bisexuals?

    • I don't know, but I'm pretty sure all the recent research has shown that most women are either lesbian or bisexual, which is to say that almost all women are sexually attracted to other women to some degree. That is not to say they necessarily act on those desires (most don't) but that is not what defines sexual orientation.

  • Yes, of course. That is strongly related to female libido.

  • This is a very touchy subject with some people but yea, for the most part, gay guys have more estrogen or less testosterone and gay women have more testosterone and less estrogen.

  • Yes, and unfortunately, fatter guys have more estrogen.

  • I did know that.

  • I did know that, yes. My understanding is that sexual orientation is actually more linked to the size of a certain part of the brain. I think the part of the brain is supposed to be... larger? in women? I'm probably totally screwing this up, I have no clue what I'm talking about.

  • Sure, but men have some 15-25 times as much. The sex-drive hormone. Their sex drive simply isn't an option. Women simply are physically unable to relate.

  • Sure, guys just have more

  • Hell yeah!! And men have some estrogen.

  • Anyone that knows testosterone promotes hair growth knows that.

    • In guys there are two organs that produce testosterone, unlike only the one in girls. The testis produces so much compared to the other organ (I am too lazy to look it up) that that production from there is virtually neg6in men.

  • yeah

  • Yes, Guys also produce estrogen as well and actually need some estrogen produced naturally to be healthy.

  • Yes we know that.

  • Most guys know this.

  • Yes, women have testosterone in certain amounts, and men have estrogen in certain amounts. Testosterone level is what gives us a sex drive, so generally, women with higher testosterone levels have a stronger and more frequent sexual drive.
