Am I a disgusting person for having a blood fetish?

  • Yes and no. Like objectively it is disgusting, and there's no way to satisfy that fetish, whether you're on the giving or receiving end without opening yourself up to diseases, infections, and needing some extensive first aid knowledge to go with it.

    It's embarrassing for me to go into because I had one too when I was around your age, say 16-19. It started with a girlfriend who was a cutter, and just took off from there to enjoying the submissiveness, the cutting, drinking, and feeling of power that went with it. It is going into the reaver territory of S&M. Absolutely no club that you go to will allow blood to be drawn among a myriad of activities you can engage in.

    Anyway, after me and her broke up, I just didn't want to take things that far with anyone else. It's far too easy to cut too deep because, you know, you pick a spot that's easy like the thigh, somewhere with few tendons or veins that you can hit but plenty of capillaries (also not visible in her day to day life). Problem being scars form as you continue down that path so you have to cut deeper, and deeper. Eventually a pressure dressing and elevation isn't enough because you hit a vein or tendon at some point, or simply have an open gash that's tearing open repeatedly and need to go to the hospital getting questions that don't have any good answers.

    You're going to have trouble finding anyone who will get into that with you and not abuse you if you're a cutter. It is going very far into some troubled waters. I won't lecture you on how to live or anything like that. Honestly if offered, it is so heavy and jacked up that I'd probably say yes again just to dive deep and see how long I can hold my breath before coming up or drowning, so I'd be a hypocrite if I did.

    Just be careful, work in a clean area with clean tools. I used a straight razor that I sharpened and cleaned before and after every use with maxipads stacked deep on the side with medical tape for dressings. They're expensive, but as they're meant for shaving easy to clean and maintain as opposed to a carpet cutting razor from home depot. You won't get your flesh back, especially if you get a staph infection. I get that for a lot of cutters it's how you feel, and the blood is "proof" of those feelings. Seriously, just be careful, and realize that it is objectively disgusting, even for many people who engage in other fetishes.

    You don't have a probability of dying from being spanked or choked, you do from getting cut. Good luck to you, really.

    • Glad to hear you got a handle on the cutting, if you're switching which way the knife is pointing you need to study study study first. I don't know what it is, but men and women yell so loudly about betas, don't be submissive... yet it is never difficult to find a sub who will do about anything to get into that sub-space. I'd explore more of the S&M scene some before diving that deep out with no safety line. Our experiences are separated by gender and over a decade and a half, but all the same I doubt much has changed. Get a sub, convince them it will be awesome, make it awesome. To that end I found that getting your subject deep into sub space, content, and so full of endorphins they may as well be on E before you even start anticipation with the blade, lead up there to the point that they don't even feel the cut. It's easier if they're restrained to keep them from hurting themselves. If you're in a heavily populated area you can find clubs and groups to learn some skills from, one to learn to do well is choking without leaving marks, slip your subject into unconsciousness, and have a system for knowing when they're unconscious so you stop, a system they can't rig thinking more is better. Same with learning ropes and checking for coldness in the fingers, not creating any crossed rope with skin contact that can cut off blood flow. Never trust it when your subs say they can take more, of course they can, up until the point that they break. You take on the responsibility for making sure those lemmings make it home safe and sound in the morning. I'm curious how far your path takes you though, especially if this is your starting point. Oh, never hurts to read an anatomy text book if you haven't already. Besides your utilitarian purposes, the body is fascinating.
