Why do straight men keep chasing lesbians?

I’m constantly telling straight men I’m gay either I get a homophobic response, something like this “ what a waste of woman” , or why do you hate us? .. it’s becoming annoying especially when a straight man will try and change me. ( Good luck there men) .. it’s irritating the he*ll out of me. I find avoiding men helps or the curious guy will ask 99 questions ( which I’m totally answering on a good day ) .. I don’t get it 🤷‍♀️

As a lesbian the thought of men doesn’t cross my mind. I can’t see myself having a romantic relationship with a man. As for openly sharing my girlfriend in the bedroom or letting a man watch. Nope maybe a bisexual or straight woman yes ; all lesbians don’t do that and I’m talking about 💯 lesbians. I don’t even mess with bisexuals or straight women or fence sitters ( bicurious women)

  • As a straight man I find lesbians incredibly hot which is ironic and I have to make a conscious effort to not hit on them because while I might want them I also understand that regardless of what I do they dont want me. In a way its a question of empathy where its very hard for me as a straight guy to relate to a lesbian that is not interested in men. Its not an idea that comes naturally for me even though I understand it on a purely logical side of things.

    Its kind of like seeing something that looks like a duck, quacks like a duck and feels like a duck but its a cat. Its hard to accept that its a cat when every instinct tells you differently.

  • I don't understand this either. One of my best friends is lesbians. We are each other's wing man. Though to be honest she's a better wingman than I am. I think it comes from some guys having a fantasy of being with two or more women at once. That and some guys are convinced that lesbians like girls only because they haven't been with a real stud. Generally, if I know a girl isn't into me I find her unattractive. The most attractive feature of someone is that they are attracted to me. You tell me you only like girls and it's limp dick city. Then it gets awkward. That said I find it useful to have a lesbian for a friend because she has told me a lot of interesting secrets about women. Fortunately we have completely different tastes in women. I like them very curvy with big butts and long pretty hair. She likes skinny little waifs with short pixie cuts. So we are never competing for the same woman.

  • Honestly, I have been guilty of this in the past, although I have a little explanation with just me, I can't speak for any other guy. My first two relationships were at least 4 years long each, but when in both relationships they were just beginning to learn about their attraction to girls. Therefore I have had 2 relationships end because they were no longer in love with me and where coming out as lesbians. So you can see that when I was younger I was like a lesbian magnet. Now later in life I have many friends that are lesbians now and to me my lesbian friends are just like on of the guys for me. No offence meant here. 🌹

    • Usually how it goes I had to let all my guy friends go because they couldn’t accept I’m into women. I just ended a 10 year friendship with a guy because he thought he could change me. I still have men time to time try with me

    • I grew up in a town, Santa Cruz California where is considered the lesbian capitol of Northern California. I just wanted them to come into their own sexuality because I think that everyone should be able to do this with support. And this was in the late 80's and early 90's. AKA the AIDS era.

  • Cuz they can turn them haha. I don't know what the logic is behind pretty musch every corner of the world. Universe makes a lot more sense to me than our planet. We all fall into this fascination of fucketry, I think its mostly harmful for the masses. Too many intoxicating things in the world in my opinion.
