If the same man has a daughter, aks that same man if he agrees it would be a learning lesson for his 14 year old daughter assuming he had a daughter.

8 28Child abuse it's not irresponsibility. It's a crime. End of story. What that father did was perpetually child rape. And both he and the older woman who knows needs to go to jail.
1 0 0 0It would be legal
Something's wrong with this man's thinking process. There is no state in the U. S. or even England and Australia where 14 is NOT statutory rape age. The woman would go to JAIL. The child would never be considered "responsible" for this pregnancy because he wasn't the age of consent!
This would screw both this very stupid woman AND the pair's child!
If you know this person, please talk to them. Better yet, get a counselor to talk to them.0 1 0 0It's legal in Germany. We assumed it was legal in the scenario.
And he would be held responsible after 18
Holy shit. That law should change. Bad call.
I don't think irresponsible is the right word
Definitely immoral, definitely bad parenting, possible child neglect/abuse1 0 0 0what kind of good father would want put their child through that?
1 1 0 0Irresponsible isn't the right word, that's for sure. Shitty parenting is a more appropriate phrase.
How about no one under the age of 15 can have sex with someone over the age of 18/19? I think that's fair & reasonable.0 0 0 0Shitty parenting, and irresponsible, what's the difference
You can be irresponsible & not be a parent. You have to be a parent to be a shitty parent
That is ridiculous!
1 0 0 0yes, a father should be there and help their child no matter what they did same with a mother
0 0 0 0Yeah I personally think that is irresponsible. I think the dad should have properly educated his son about the danger of STDs at his young age especially since the young teenage boy is not using protection and even then with protection teenagers have a significantly higher chance to contract an STD due to their bodies being underdeveloped. I also think the dad should have informed the son about how being responsible for a child is not a small task and how children are expensive but also since the young boy will be a father I think the boy must be taught about why raising a child at a young age can be detrimental to the child. And then once the son was educated the son could make his decision if he still wanted to have sex with an older women as long as it was legal and consensual after the father gave his son proper knowledge and warnings even if the son might not fully understand or listen to them.
0 0 0 0Actually it’s a whole division of psychiatry. It’s called natural consequences. Look it up
0 0 0 0That's some pretty shitty parenting
1 0 0 0Yes, that is bad parenting.
Ours brains aren't even fully developed until the early to mid 20's and you should put boundaries on kids. They are immature and fitting in with their peer group and having fun is pretty much the only thing they are concerned with at that age.
A loving parent puts limits and boundaries on them.1 0 0 0I'd say he's bordering on abusive not just irresponsible
0 1 0 0yeah he is
0 1 0 0They all need to have a mental health check up.
0 0 0 0But if it's legal the 14 yrold knows it and knows other 14 yr olds who do it because it's legal than higher chance he will make the decision to do it
And the father can't do much about that if it's the law that gives the green light other than tell him the consequences and handle it when they arrive0 0 0 0i agree thats crazy
0 0 0 0Yea, he is
He isn't telling his kid to learn from experience of others but wanting to give his son the experience and burden... that is not as good
It's better to teach and learn from other's experience than suffering own0 0 0 0First of all, letting an underage boy fuck an older woman, or a young girl, or anyone in between without protection, is the most insane bullshit I've heard of in quite some time.
0 0 0 0lol... indeed.
1 0 0 0So you'd be against it if it were your son? Or you'd just tell him to be safe? No court is gonna make a 14yo pay child support lol.
0 0 0 0They will if he turns 18. Of course I'd be against it. Its ridiculous
But would you be against it if it were a 14yo girl with an older man?
You're* 14 yo daughter
