  • A dildo doesn't have a personality. A dildo can't take out the garbage, or put the kids to bed, or fix the toilet valve that runs all night, or take you out to a nice restaurant.

    The point is: a dildo is an abstract object, and can easily be made in any reasonable size, so it's easy enough to get a big one, because there aren't many other criteria to choose from. It's the same reason that those super expensive sex dolls all seem to have big (or HUGE) impossibly perky tits - because it's an object and there's no reason it can't.

    But that's very different from an actual PERSON. As a woman, would you choose a guy with a 6" dick and a great personality, who was a great partner to you, or a guy with a 7.5" dick who was a moron and had a boring personality? Most women would choose the former, happily. But why would they, if dick size was so important? The answer, of course, is that it's really not that important in the context of real human relationships. If it was, then every man would have a huge dick, because generations of women would have refused to reproduce with guys with smaller dicks, and they'd have died out.

    Size matters, looks matter, income matters, intelligence matters, it's why dating is so tough, and finding an individual that you want to spend a lot of time with, who also wants to spend a lot of time with you. I think women are so encouraged to say size doesn't matter because you have few ways of knowing that before you have sex with a guy, where as guys can see most of the "package" they're getting, except what your labia and nipples look like from a head to toe glance. If you're chasing after size only, it would be very few Ron Jeremy types leading to a very inbred human race.

    Same as if all guys chased after breast size only, or some singular feature women have. Pretty sure that's how people were before agrarian farming and the spread of monogamy. Only "look at the size of his spear and his kills!" "Look at the size of her hips, she... probably won't die giving birth".

  • Key word here is “encouraged”. We’re encouraged to make men feel good about their size no matter what it is, when in reality a lot of women prefer 8+. Of course I said “a lot” because there are many of us who don’t think size matters (‘motion of the ocean, not the size of the boat’ sort of women). Which is fine too.

  • Who says they are all huge? They are harder to hide from your sister/brother/mom that way. Besides, vaginal nerve endings only go a short distance into the vagina so more than a few inches is wasted.   • Because women lie all the time. It's okay; men are used to it. Anything less than seven inches (or six by girth) is not going to make a woman climax.     It's common knowledge that filling a hole up feels more intense, thus why the typical dildo is rather big, up to seriously pervy things that are horse sized, and I mean real proportions.
    Sex is not penetration only, fully agreed. But to say that a dick as big as a pinkie can obtain the same result as one large as my wrist it's wishful thinking at best and willful ignorance at worst.
