Superb Opinion

  • Hell no, women make awful roommates. My experience with that is if it isn't a relationship they expect to be able to slide on not paying the bills, cleaning, and then be surprised and incredulous when I kick their ass out. Also very liberal with the idea of "borrowing" my shit without asking.

I will never, NEVER have another roommate who's a woman. Guys make alright roommates just a roll of the dice, ugh, most women assume they can cook as well, most guys can acknowledge when they can't.

Anyway, awkward isn't the word I would use. Infuriating with a strong desire to snap a neck like a chicken's when rent is due is more like it. If all you got was "awkward" from your roommate, that isn't so bad. I had to drive out of town and blow up some rocks before I went back and confronted the lack of rent, and money for bills added on to the other bullshit situation so I wouldn't simply kill my roommate and sell her shit. She was too damned fat to sell for human trafficking, or I'll be damned if that wouldn't have been my first course of action.

Most Helpful Guy

  • Not awkward at all, and I enjoy it. One big benefit is they usually have friends and it's a great way to meet more potential romantic partners (if you're heterosexual).
There are a lot of stereotypes about males/females but I would say the one significant drawback or issue with females is they tend to bring more drama than males, though not true of all, I have definitely seen a trend.

I can handle a certain amount of drama and even enjoy it to some extent sometimes. So it's not a big deal usually, and I am pretty good at separating myself from other people's drama when I have had enough of it or it is over the top.

  • at first is can be kewl.

I lived with a boyfriend and he had roommates, 2 guys and 2 girls.

The guys kept hitting on me and my boyfriend was getting mad. I told him they have gfs and not worry.

the bad thing, is over enough time, i got to like one of the guys a lot, we made out, and had sex a lot, when my boyfriend was not home. My boyfriend, Little Dick Joey, was a disappointment in bed.

And one of the girls was bi like me.. we had some fun.

I finally had to move out coz my boyfriend was getting too mad and i dumped him about a month later, coz he went to jail for selling drugs; mary jane and coke

    • @wingattebaby16 did u keep seeing the other guy? or the bi girl?

    • Sooo you told your boyfriend not to worry about the 2 guys who were hitting on you then you ended up cheating on your boyfriend with one of the guys?

  • Never done it. But I should think it creates a lot of problems..

  • I prefer roomating with men.
I can handle the gossip and constant need for talk and attention of immature women, plus i have more interests with guys.

    • @judgefreezone did it ever get sexual?

    • For the time I used to live with my old boyfriend obviously yes. For the time lived with my friends no. But we were comfortable around with each other.

    • @judgefreezone were u ever naked around your friends?

  • Only if we’re engaged

  • The living together part isn't that awkward.
It's when things go sexual... especially if someone gets excluded from that scenario, lol.

  • Having spent time on various Ops with RAF you sort of get used to it.

bizarrely you can see the other sex in a totally non sexual way.

although when your entire team where thongs as a joke it’s a pain lol,
    .
we had mixed blocks and shower, bathroom facilities.

Outside of that I have seen most of my girl mates naked at some point, 99% time it’s normal.

I am zero problems with it if I know the person, strangers it’s more them than me being concerned.

you go to a topless or nudist beach, you can chill out with out visually molesting every pair of boobs that go past,

  • Not awkward tho

  • Nope it’s my norm. #lesbian

  • Not a problem. As long as they keep to their corner and don't trespass in mine.
Same thing I'd expect from anyone.

  • Oh for sure and nah. It's weird to me that other people cannot stay casual about it.

  • Depends on who it is I’m rooming with

    • @agape93 I think you and @gwenhwyfar would make good room mates...

    • Chris, do you mean something kinky by that

    • No comment lol. Discreetly leaving the room 😊.

  • Only did it once. Very awkward.

  • Rather have that way and no it’s not due to hoping for sexual adventures. It’s because I don’t get along with males.

  • Yeah but it always ends in sex

    • isn't that a good thing

    • Of course.

  • Not really
    Its actually fun

  • I don't think it would be awkward. I'd respect the boundaries and give them their space. It all depends or how much you trust each other that nothing will happen. I can imagine a lot of people breaking that conduct though.

  • I don't like rooming with people at all

  • A girl wanting to room with me, and not have sex with me, never happened to me.

  • Constant sexual tension... yup

  • rooming? you mean having an opposite sex room mate?

  • It is awkward. I rather sleep on a footpath than with some stranger.
And I did it too when there was lack of tents when I went camping out

  • It is a little awkward. I sometimes sleepover at my girl's place and she have 2 other girls that live with her. They both already saw me naked and I saw one of them naked. We don't really talk or tell my girl about it.
