My bestfriend overheard my boyfriends friends ask my boyfriend if I a was “thick” (as in like a bigger plumper girl) and he said I was “in between”

In this context id have guessed it meant between slim and thick. Most people find somewhere between great.

  Well you're either in between thick and slim or between thick and fat. It should be pretty obvious which since there's probably about a 40 lb weight difference between those.

  As I suggested, I can -most- see myself answering the question "is she thick" with "in-between" if someone was between a skinny (think petite or runway thin) and thick (like ready to be in a rap video) body. I'd only answer that way if I understood the question to be "is she thick (or skinny)". To be honest skinny women and "thick with skinny waist" can both be really hot but if most guys are picking a favorite it would likely be "in between" those two.
