What do you think of R rated fanfics about having sexual relationship with male fictional characters who is 15/16 years old?

I think it’s not appropriate even though it’s more targeted to please female fans. As a fan myself I was shocked and will never approve of this underage sex fanfic. Firstly he’s too young, if he’s 18 and above that’s ok but not below 18. If they say ‘he was 18 years old in this’ then it’s acceptable. It’s like they normalise females of any age to have sex with young boys who are still way too young. But when the genders switch places, people get upset and call the guy a pedophile. It’s like females can get away with it, in my country if a person (male/female) has sex with someone below 16 they will faced a jail sentence. It’s good when that female teacher was in jail for having sex with a 13 year old boy.(that happened when I was 17 years old) She was married and had kids yet she’s ok with doing this type of thing? What kind of teacher she is! Also what do you think of shows that sexualise 14 to 16 year old fictional characters is it bad?

I assume you are talking about adult women having sexualy relationships with 16 year old boys. I don't see a problem there. The boys are already having sex at that age. This is very common in my country and nobody has a problem with that. The age of consent is different all over the world. The internet is worldwide, so you will find R rated (and beyond), stories that have characters who don't meet the minimum age requirements in your country. In western countries under the influence of christianity, the minimum age for people to even think about sex has been slowly rising over the past century for some strange reason. As shocking as this may seem, up until the early 1900's, the age of consent in most christian nations was 10.. (I agree that is WAY to young!) Then it went up to 12. In the USA, they raised it to 14 in most states, and then about 50 years ago, they began pushing it to 16. Now, most of the USA has their minimum age at 18. I have been expecting them to move it to 21 one day. I would laugh if they made it 25. That would really help in their goal to stay the world leader in the number of sex offenders 😆

This might trigger some people in those western countries, but most biblical scholars believe that the "Virgin" Mary was about 12 years old when the older widower, Joseph, married her. He was most likely 40 years old at the time. He would be locked up today and branded a pedophile, and little Mary would have been taken from her parents and locked in a foster home. (Her parents obviously allowed this). My point is, people are conditioned by their society as to what they should be offended by. Everyone reading this can look at their family history and find grandparents or great-grandparents who probably got married and was having kids at 16, or even earlier. How do you feel about them? Were they all sex offenders? Nobody would be here today if the modern laws of western countries were in effect 100 or 200 years ago.

Fiction does not equal reality.
If you don't like something don't look at it. People create this content for a multitude of reasons some of which is a coping mechanism for trauma. Either way it's not the same, and sure it's not everyone's cup of tea but if you consume labelled content you don't like, that's on you.

The issue is that they are fictional. Age of consent laws are meant to protect those that are too young to understand the ramifications involved with s x. Being fictional there is no harm to any person.

the issue is that ages of consent vary around the world so 16 may seem alarming to you but here in the uk 16 is fine... mind you i even raise an eyebrow at 14 and wonder if some things should stay in their original country

I think it’s fiction. And as long as they are all the same age it’s OK. I write my pervy girlfriend pervy stories about us being really young and fooling around for the first time with eachother. (just us, and same age).
